  • whatever it is, i feel the music for tamil version was really nice compared with others.

  • why does his head keep getting cut off?

  • @Privatesketch because the girl is in love with him but the king loves the girl

  • this scared the living shit out of me, im actually gnna watch this version it seems like i missed a great performance

  • i've watched all the versions, but nobody could match Shobana...she's a dancer par excellence!!

  • if you watch shobana she is so natural and makes u believe she is insane the others just look clownish

  • it's 2:35AM....and her face at 0:47 scared the shit outta me...totally didn't expect that bride of chuckie face at this time of night...

  • my cuzzo looks lik that when she dances

  • I can only find the Hindi version to buy. :( Where can I buy the DVD in Tamil?

  • Is anyone else captivated by not just her but they guy as well? He dances beautifully!

  • anyone notice that its supposed to be nightime but when the show the window at 1:12 its daytime?

  • anyone notice that its supposed to be nighttome and when they show the window its daylight

  • lakalakalaka? loool

  • Why is there always a movie like this where the female is dancing crazy, can someone explain this? Thanks.

  • @croftwoman17 I don't know if it's what you're looking as an answer, for to explain quickly: She's the wife of one of the three guys on the video. She is possesed by the ghost of a courtesan/dancer who was killed with her lover, also a dancer by a jealous king long time ago :p So, while possesed she imagined the whole scene again.. It always appears at the end of each remake ^^

  • @Paynesciarri Well it's not really possesion, there is no fantasy involved in the movie.. But I'm trying not to spoil the whole thing xD

  • have u guys ever seen the original malayalam movie manichithrathaazhu and SHOBHANA's acting in it???

  • @ vivaLAhinduism

What do you mean by I am Indian ....... Mate, I am Tamil but still first I'm an INDIAN.... Apologies expected please

  • Yeah I know all maalu's out there could not accept jyothika's acting since they have been exposed to the original and which remains a classic there... But still jyothika was able to mesmerise tamil and telugu audience with her acting talent ..... They loved and thrilled watching her that's why the movie was a blockbuster of the year ...... Yeah offcourse not to forget vettaityan .... lakalakalakalakalaka

  • I guess only three heroines managed to overshadowed Rajini's screen presence and charisma with their acting talent and powerful characterisation... they are vijayashanthi from mannan, Ramya Krishnan from padaiyappa and jyothika from chandramukhi

  • her eyes still gives me the freaks....even after all these years :P

  • Gautham is an excellent dancer.

  • lolllllll

  • 3:32 LOL

  • What a funny acting by her...she looks like a foolish girl with such expressions. Have a look at the original one with shobhana, Thats really unbelievably amazing and she even won national award for it, but here in the tamil remake, Jyothika made the movie a a flop.

  • @Casper39500 dude your comment is only partly right 'coz Jyothika's expressions can't be compared to that of SHOBHANA'S, but she did not make the movie a flop because it was a mega hit at the box office, biggest hit of the year.

  • @ranjinivk I went to watch the movie only because the hero was Rajni, but I was really dissappointed to see Jyothika's acting. She could have danced like normal, or a bit faster to feel like abnormal, but she gave some exaggerated expressions, that looks so stupid, the way she smiles...are horrible.

  • 0.52

  • how could anyone dislike this....and malayalam copied tamil so what are you on about????

  • @Miss16boots tamil copied malyalam - just look at the release dates

  • @Miss16boots Malayalam never copy tamil. Chandramukhi was a remake of Malayalam movie Manichithrathazhu.

  • @Casper39500 Almost all fraternities have agreed upon the Malayalam version being the best.

  • @Miss16boots - rubbish ! please get your facts right. Manichithrathazhu.was released in 1993 and i watched it then when i was in school. tamil version came in out later around 2004 or so. you could check out the information anywhere on the net as an added proof

  • lol mm le tyran est sympa on peut pas le détester

  • excellente chorégraphie et très belle interprétation

  • Vineeth is an excellent dancer and fine artist, but unfortunately no chances to him.. will tamil directors turn their faces towards him...

  • Though this is a riddiculous remake, the song and dance are really good. But P. Vasu, the director, stole the script and never acknowledged it. And he made Nagavalli(Chandramukhi) look like a joke rather than the vengeful soul she was. Jyothika tried her best, but ended up looking stupid rather than scary!! But still better than the Kannada version, and the stupid Telugu sequel!!

  • expression by soundarya in kannada version is much much bettr

  • another malayalam classic movie insulted in all sense...tamil can only have 5dance 5 fight films

  • her expressions are ridiculous!!

  • RAJNIKANTH!

  • i love this movie chandramukhi

    really intresting and horriable

i think ithis movie is better then bhool bhulia<3

  • @hgfh116 :)

  • The worst expression ever from all other version...

  • Guys, yall should watch the climax of this movie. No one can beat her in it. This movie is the most successful than the other remakes.

  • And another thing, No one can beat Rajnikanth, be it mohanlal or venkatesh or akshay kumar. So my vote will be for chandramuki.

  • @nipplesandballs Beg to differ. Mohanlal is far and away a superior actor to Rajnikanth. Chandramukhi is nothing more than a great malayalam movie spit on, swallowed, and regurgitated back.

  • @bedibye813 Maybe Mohanlal is. But you've got to check out rajinikanth's fanbase. Well, no actor can beat that.

  • @nipplesandballs he acts like almighty. mohanlal is a natural actor, no overacting, no silly stunts etc, winning so much more awards. the awards themselves speak for it. pls dont ever compare the two.

  • @TheSsjb Cos he's like THE Almighty! Yes you're right, we shouldn't be comparing the two..Rajini on another level to be compared with anyone.. Ur a malayalee and I am a tamilian so we r gonna be supporting our own superstars.Just know that, if ur talking about acting, I agree mohanlal is good..but there's always someone better.. That person comes from the tamil industry too.Yess from the same industry u indirectly said where silly stunts and overacting comes from.Kamalhasan. Beat that!

  • Both Jyothika and Shobana were great actresses. But definitely the tamil version of this song wins hands down.

  • I love this version of the dance. Both dancers are phenomenal here.

  • THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL ACTING. BOLLYWOOD, LEARN SOMETHING FROM THIS. LOOK AT HER EYES, JUST PRICELESS. I HOPE SHE GOT PAID WELL FOR THIS MOVIE.

    Classic movie.

  • @itnaganid666 i totally agree with you!!!!Tamils 4 life!!

  • @itnaganid666 Wish U hv Watched d Original

  • @itnaganid666 I am indian, and even I agree this way better than bollywood. its gone to shit now.

  • @itnaganid666 fake fake fake (I)(T) workx

  • OMG. I've wanted to see this movie for a while now, the song is so cool. I like the Hindi version better though :x Since its the first one I heard. I did see a clip of Shobana, who did really well on the acting!

  • The dance is just awsome...

  • Gosh, I just love this song. I keep coming back to listen to it

  • For any music lover here, may I know what Raagam is this?

  • @giriisindahouse search "raa raa ragam" on google, and the first result has a lengthy discussion on this topic

  • @whaattproductions wow thanks. I never thought the raagam was that complicated. So its Udayaravichandrika ragam, that's a complicated, unknown ragam.

  • Out of all the versions of this dance I reckon this is the best, the man is the best dancer out of all the guys in the other versions in my opinion.

As a film itself the sequel Nagavalli was sooo much better, I can't find the Malayam version with english subtitles so I cant' comment whether it's better then this version

  • this movie name chandramukhi i have watched this

  • hindi ws far bttr den tamil version..

  • Rajnikanth is nothin in front of Mohanlal acting wise(not stardom)..

  • why did she jumped like that lmao

  • what name of this movie? how can i watch this? please...

  • @saruul83 chandramukhi

  • @saruul83

this movie is "chandramukhi" in tamil.

  • Look at the grace with which Vineet does his steps.. mann! cant take eyes off him!

  • lolz love the song

  • ich liebe das lied der film wahr auch cool ihre augen machen mir aber angst

  • @Helena111kapoor

oh yeah those some funny eyes !

  • very nice i like it ,,,,

  • suck...she is look like mental retarted child....joyhika....

  • @pavu555 that is exactly what she is supposed to portray here! :)

  • just a personal opnion.. if they got aishwarya rai to do this role.. it wud have been more graceful classical dancing but then again, this song is showing chandramukhi's anger so i dont think gracefullness really matters here lol

  • @selenaandemifan3 No way! See the original movie which is 'Manichitrathazu' starring shobhana in the dance scene. The tamil version was not a hit.

  • @selenaandemifan3 but i think joythicka suited the role better

  • @selenaandemifan3 Yes, beside, the character of Ganga is not supposed to be a dancer.

  • She is scary but love her eyes movement ....but i like hindi version better .....may be coz i can understand that one n not this one :)

  • shobana was the best for this role

  • Comment removed

  • hte hindi version is sooo well done...vidya balan had dont gr8 acting and dance ...dis 1is nt tht gr8....

  • i love this song but.........IT IS SCARY !!!

  • Love u jo..:)

  • hindi version is better i guess

  • Can anyone tell a link to bangali version of this movie named "Rajmohol"???

  • dont tell me you looked at 0:53 to 0:55 horrorfying eyes

  • @MegaBadgirl55 ohhh fuckkk,im so scared

  • ente daivame evalkku pranthu pidicho?? evalkku pretha badha alla, pranthu badhaya...avalkku shobhanayude video onnu kanduu padikkayirunnille..avasanam vineethinte oru thala illa dancum..poorthi aayi

  • @thansiya1 yes

  • i like this song as it is very fucking

  • Guys dont compare malayalam version. In malayalam the director made one professional Bharatnatyam dancer to dance, there is no real problem. But here, they've made a mumbai born some chapati eating girl to dance sync to the tune and they've done it to the extent it can be compared with professional bharatnatyam. Out of all I like this one most.. professional.

  • @bennyagp the only thing good in this is vineeth. musics okay too.

  • Comment removed

  • hey only shobhana got national award dont 4get dat....

  • @gopan666

hey the tamil version is the most successful and dont you forget that mate

if you want to make sleavy bitchy comments, don't search "chandramukhi" as people come to watch this video to ENJOY it......

  • hindi version is waste infront of this, This is the best

  • try the Malayalam original

  • Comment removed

  • hmmm can anyonefind the link for the hindi version of this song.. plz!!

  • We all know that Jyothika can't dance. And while she's portraying a dancer, there's only one more thing important to this role than dancing. That is portraying a psychotic, lunatic, freaking scary madwoman. And Jyothika does this REALLY well. Which is why I can forgive her not dancing that well.

  • this is one of the greatest movies ever. Jyothika is like the best actor. stop at -0:55 its is the most scariest!!!!!!!!

  • Fantasy is when a kannadiga thinks there is a kannada culture No offense intended

PS cant help if truth hurts

  • @TheDhruv002

Fantasy is when "the dhruv" thinks he is a sane being. No offense intended.

PS cant help if truth hurts

  • @karthikmysooru go fcuk urself

    No offense intended

  • @kamalreddy88

LOL! people need to attend some English classes!

I don't mind if you say anything to me or anybody else, for the matter it shows your 'level'. Talk sane, act sane mate!

  • @karthikmysooru

    that mistake was intentional..

    do u know why?

  • @kamalreddy88

Yeah I know. Either you do not know the correct spelling (the most obvious one) or you do not have a better job to do.

  • @TheBhaumik87 vidya balan? are you kidding me?! and what the hell is wrong if their south indian? Besides, the original one was south indian. Don't get me wrong, she's a great actress but she's too innocent looking to play Manjulika/Nagavalli/Chandramukhi

  • vidya balan was the best she was far better than all these southern actressess !! and amhi jetoma is no where in comparison to these song .. so irritating and crap this song is

  • @TheBhaumik87 ..I smell a li'l racism there................and yeah first and original movie is manichithrathazhu, which is the ebst among all these...and dont forget vidyabalan herself is a keralite and copied shobhana only.....though unsuccesfully..

  • Shobana is a better dancer and actress than Joythika and Soundarya. BUT, interms of song picturization, Tamil Chandramuki is way better.

  • I think shobana was the better actress, but that could be because she was the original and the other actresses worked off her. But this version of the song is the best.

  • @EggAndBanana8 : Later tell me what you think of the Hindi Version!!

  • Shobana did even a wayy better job than her

  • i love love love this song more then my life

  • great job

  • vidya balan done great in the new version of this movie ( bhool bhulaya)

  • i got the fright of my life when they went close to her face omw!!!

  • her expressions, her dance moves, just perfect man, bhool bhalyia was just crap compared to this

  • lmao,Rajni lack lack lack, lol you need to love Rajni

this was the best performance from all the movies

  • Hey guys use your senses,we cant compare all versions with the malayalam version.First of all come to know one thing, its a story based and orginated from kerala. They have done the job very well.Just watch the malayalam version of ra ra.How padmashree shobhana done her job.She got the National Award for best actress in this film. We cant compare Shobhana with other heroines. She is completely dedictated and born for indian classical dance. She is truly a legend for the classical dance.

  • this song is scary but prabhu made me laugh always even when he used to b serious in the movie lol....!

  • jonly rajni did a better job than malayalm

  • just watch malayalam version

  • I Love this song. nd totally dance also amazing. ilove jyothika also

  • for people whp dont know anyhting about indian culture they sure know how to insult people's cultures. It just shows how cultured they are!!1 i hate the hindi version of this osng but love the Tamil version!!!! THIS SONG ROCKS!!!

  • @kimmulakshmi all versions are good ur just a racist

  • i miss jothika..:(

  • I love this movie. Tamil version is by far the best lmfao.

  • @xxshruthixx The Malayalam version featured better acting and dancing. The Tamil one is higher on visual effects and both are any day better than the Hindi version. I'm from Haryana, so I'm not biased or anything. ;-)

  • Lakalakalakalakalaka XD

  • Tmil is better than other versions of chandramukhi!!

  • I saw the Hindi Version of this song & I hate the Hindi Version!!! I love the this song!!

  • @kimmulakshmi why having hate for song they just different.. i couldnt stand this song but u have to appreciate the art of it...eeesh!!!!!!!!!

  • @kimmulakshmi see d malayalam version......thtz d best ever....no one can beat shobhana..!!!!

  • @kimmulakshmi

  • @kimmulakshmi can u just watch its malayalam version???

  • this movie is so great...i think tamil movie is more great than hindi movie...

  • okay i speak gujarati.... I HAD NO CLUE WHAT THEY WERE SAYING and I LOVED THIS SONG. infact i danced to it for my cousins wedding!!!

  • Music Director Vidyasagar is a Telugu man. Dont you kow this ?

  • someone run this over to me...just why did he behead the guy? i thought maybe the touching of the girl and also that part where it looks like he knocked off his earring? so which was it exactly?

  • @Theoneenchanted back in the day...in this part of the country...when someone touches a potential queen, the consequences can be anything...the king just expressed his anger by beheading the guy.

    the earring just fell off

  • @qwerty10113 thank you for clearing that up.

  • Ff hghjuhfdaaaaasewwwouyuiiilklkkklll

  • my mother says... chandramukhi is like a doll cause my mother says that chandramukhi's eyes are funny.. and even ask who make- up her like that

  • ya.the song is gud. but the dance.

    they culd hav choreghrafd betr

  • bhool bholaiya iss film se bahot achha hai. See her eyes in 48th second, its scary.

  • bhool bholaiya iss film se bahot achha hai.

  • jyothika did a fabulous job.....she was the bestest

  • She isn't scary at all but the song is.

  • Vineeth... wht else can i say? simply amazing dancer!!

  • how are fucked are u guys?..honeslty dont give a shit if Malayalam or any other versions were "better" than this..all i could say is that if joythink was to look "hot" for this scene...that wouldnt be calling her possesed but horny..ppl who think she overacted either dont know shit about this movie or need a fucking life..by far...If this movie did not have Joythika,,leave Rajani..but without her...this movie wouldnt have been as successful as it is.

  • so ..basically bhool bhulaiyaa copied a this movie ...omg the Indian ppl can steal thing from poor south .....oh god i feel sorry for this ppl....when i watched this oh god the actress acting scared...she is obviously so good and plus the eyes ...oh god the dancing is classic ....love it better than bhool bhulaiyaa....it's a shame i understand the song ......but it's very nice love it love it

  • @Xian94ify bhool bholaiya is much better than this low level acted film and also the best music of that. It is quite poor movie in everything than bhoolbholaiya. Vidya balan acted superb and her amazing performance was too good than this jyo.

  • @MrNi3ach

dude...when in my fuckin world i sed vidya balan is not a good actor? she is a superb actress but u not gettin my comment . all i sed is how bollywood has copied south movies...jezzzhhhh..man bhool bhulaiya obviously copied the movie cuz they know its fuckin good and try to make it their own version ..which is good and different. i'm jus tryin to voice and opinion dude....chill out atleast i'm entitled to ...let me have my fuckin moment...butt out

  • @MrNi3ach Grt Man

  • @Xian94ify Its Copied 4m manichitrathazhu Not dis Movie BB was really good than dis Commercial movie

  • the actual chandramukhi is a telugu girl....so the song in tamil and kannada are in telugu....

  • I'm Telugu so I saw the Telugu movie only and I guess it was good. But the only thing that scared me in this whole movie was Jo's face in this song (the entrance). She looks like a clown, never thought one person could posses so much ugliness.
