@TheInvalidChronicles he has some kind of hearing sickness, don't remember the name, so he has to wear haedphones during concerts so he won't hurt his ears...

He doesn't have a sickness he's just 80% or so death in his left ear from playing gigs with 9 cabinets and not having any protection for his ears.

Paul has Tinnitus or ringing in the ears. It comes from being exposed to loud noise (music). A lot of musicians have it.

@S3rji Tinnitus... I have the same disease... It's constant, massive ringing in the ears... I got mine from playing live with my amps cranked to 11... I guess Paul did too.

@S3rji you mean tinitus? every musician has some sort of ringing in their ears, maybe he just wants to keep it from getting worse.

@jackwontknow1 Paul has very serious tinitus. I read in an interview that he actually can't hear Hi-Hats any more because of it and therefore, during the recent Mr.Big tour, he had to have a screen in front of him that was linked to a camera feed from the drum kit so he could see when Pat was hitting the Hi-hat.
