  • Oh hey, Plastic Mind!

  • Octagon !

  • An epic song !

  • tyvm

  • WOOOOOAAAAAH, who's the composer?

  • @LordThomsie ZUN

  • I have no idea what in stage is (plz tell me) but this song is the coolest thing i've ever heard

  • @maddenn1

    Touhou 08:Imperishable Night Stage 3

    Keine Kamishirasawa's stage theme.

All of Touhou's music is incredible. ;v;)b

  • @maddenn1

it's the stage 3 song of touhou 8 - imperishable night

touhou is a very popular bullet hell game series you should check it out, every song is epic =D

  • -Playlist- where's my history?

  • AWESOME

    I love this one

  • Keine was one of the few characters whose original drawings from ZUN was extremely cute.

  • For some reason I think Keine should be the Announcer in Touhou Fortress.

  • Thumbs up if you think Keine will NEVER fail a history test... she ate all the history, so why test people on it??

  • Keine is epic! She is the best character on Imperishable Night ever!

  • Keine!WHERES MY HISTORY~!...Oh..Keep it

  • Keine is so awesome, both themes are epic

  • This song is one of the best stage themes. I AM NOT KIDDING! The piano solo at 0:52 is so beautiful I could cry...

  • @HTFloverr agreed completely, I actually DID cry

  • Looks like a female kurow from Okamiden o_o

  • This theme is better than her boss theme.

  • @Charizard632 true that :3

  • @Charizard632 You... serious?

  • 0:52 WILD KEINE HAS APPEARED.

I love how songs tend to get kinda hiped up when the boss seems to appear. Sometimes.

  • i forgot how i came here

  • OH MY GOSH WHAT IS ALL THAT UNDER HER SKIRT?!

  • Nice song ^_^

I have just finished third level, it is very hard for me that started to play only yesterday :|

  • I know how to play this in the piano! now you can say that im a lucky person!

  • 2:35 is where it's at!

  • Sounds very PC-98ish in the beginning

  • @sbricksful it should, since it samples Alice's PC-98 theme, Plastic Mind in places

  • @hjt091 I knew it!

  • she ate my history homework D:

  • Hey.... What's that? Is that A Nuclear Explosion under your dress?

    **Crawls closer, to look**

    ...

Hey, let me out! It was a trap!

  • me encanta este tema

  • Thumbs up if you tracked this song down after hearing Yamas' "East Spice" YTP

    =3

  • @EXRazeBurn OH WHAT.

There's a thousand reasons I could've been here, how did you know?!

  • @Chaosiox

Would you buy...world's most accurate yet topically irrelevant remote viewer?

    =3

  • This song (oddly enough) reminds me of Dschinghis Khan - Moskau o_O

I love playing on this level just for the song as well :)

  • This is one of my favorite stages to play because of this song :)

  • When she eats history, she is only concealing the history. not erasing it. its like making someone forget they bought something.

  • Student: Keine, are you ready for the history exam?

Young Keine: History? I EAT HISTORY FOR BREAKFAST

  • @JuuLii0x3 i dont get it.

  • @JuuLii0x3 LOLOL! I laughed out loud like a nerd. xD

  • @JuuLii0x3 she needs to attend history exam? you sure?

  • @JuuLii0x3 with our without nails?

  • @JuuLii0x3 WITHOUT MILK...

  • @JuuLii0x3 Another Student: Haha, Keine, you're so silly sometimes, haha. You down it with a glass milk, too, I bet.

Young Keine: ...No, seriously. I eat it for breakfast.

  • My theory on why it sounds like Plastic mind at one part...

    NOSTALGIC Blood of the East

Plus, Alice is in Imperishable Night as well, and Plastic Mind just HAPPENS to be her theme from Stage 3 of Mystic Square. See where I'm going with this? But then again, I could be wrong, since it's just a theory...

  • @dogAddicted

I'm not sure about Plastic Mind, but ZUN did purposefully make it sound like an earlier track. It's on the tip of my tongue, but I cannot remember now. Why I say he did this is because, if you play Imperishable Night, and go to the music, in the description he mentions that it was meant to sound like an old one.

Sorry for being so redundant. Can't form sentences now.

  • This song defines Touhou for me. If there was a theme song for Touhou, I vote this.

  • Keine with a sword? =[]

  • @gillstar34 one of her spellcards mentions a sword

  • wait so she has history under her skirt but how many skirts does she have that has it like that?

  • 0:50

    Keine: Oh hai thar.....

    ......GO AWAY YOU YOUKAI!

Me: But I want to listen to the rest of the music!

  • Its Keine's dress of history

  • @KuraiShoka

The original Japanese title is "懐かしき東方の血" (natsukashiki touhou no chi).

"東方" (touhou) is translated as "the east", but "the orient" is not wrong if it is appropriate to the situation.

(considering that Keine's theme is "Plain Asia")

  • Seeing that I'm curious as to what other bizarre things Keine is hiding up her skirt...

Now, on a second thought I might not want to know.

  • East Spice

  • Keine's history scrool and Byakuren's magic "scrool like" thing looks similar

  • @lordcristale

Not really, Keine's scrolls tend to be the typical paper-like scrolls, whereas Byakuren's one is a rainbow, material-less rune / symbol scroll.

  • Something I noticed that I love about her stage is that Keine first appears right when the music climaxes for the midboss fight.

  • Other than a few piano-only arrangements, it seems like this is definitely a track where no arrangement exists that even comes to the greatness of ZUN's original.

How everything leads up to 0:53 is glorious.

  • Awesome song and picture. I want to learn this on piano. :]

  • I want this picture of Keine so much. It is made of badass.

  • Did I just saw my death on her dress?

  • Ah, Nostalgic Blood of the East. Hands down one of the best Imperishable Night stage themes. Keine looks downright deadly in the picture.

  • Indeed. Never has anyone wearing bloomers looked more murderous.

  • Bloomers, lol. Why do the characters of Touhou have to terrify me so much? Can't help but love it, you know? Keine, let's go a round. -Puts up his 8-bit dukes-

  • This cant be more perfect

  • If you listen to some of the PC98 songs, you'll understand what ZUN said about "nostalgic".

  • she looks so hot

  • Ah, I love this piece so, so much.

  • This song sounds like it's from the PC-98 well the title maybe hints that

  • FUCK YEAH KEINE

  • What's the 'throwback' song this is supposed to be? From which old game?

  • @pyrix

If you go to the music room in Touhou 08, you'll be able to read all about it.

  • Wow... Apparently, from what I'm seeing *This picture*

Keine hides her consumed history up her skirt XD

  • Who knows? Maybe is all up her butt.

  • No, she's just keeping it in her skirt for a snack later.

  • @tonykattvc Yes because it's better than burying it for the winter.

  • @DevilBaby626 its said, the history Keine ate wasnt permanently lost, somehow,it was like the properties of Nue's Non-Identification thing

  • @DevilBaby626 She ruminates?

  • A vocal arrange of this song: "Shining of the Moon" by SOUND HOLIC's also good, although I think it'd be more liked by those who likes upbeat melodies

    P.S - This song rocks x3

  • *Cough* Plastic Mind *Cough*

  • You know, it's NOSTALGIC xD

  • yeah actually xD!

  • 0:15 to 0:53 is so made of epicness...too bad ZUN doesn't include this kind of sound in more of his works.

  • Dude, I completely agree.

  • i love the first 14 seconds of this song so very much o 3o

  • I remember that ZUN put a part of another PC-98 song in this song, is it Alice's theme or something?

  • It is Alice's theme from Touhou 5 Mystic Square you are thinking of here. Plastic Mind its called.

  • there are at least two other PC-98 themes in imperishable night.

  • Yes, and one of them is Reimu's theme, Maiden's Capriccio ~ Dream Battle. The other may be Love Colored Master Spark, I'm not sure.

  • It is. There's a PC-98 song called Love Colored Magic, which sounds nearly identical to Love Colored Master Spark

  • not to bring up an old conversation but love colored master spark is an arranged love colored magic, you are correct.

  • What games does Keine appear in?

  • Well, Keine appears in the 8th Touhou game: Imperishable Night, this girl is the boss of 3rd stage of this game, and extra stage mid-boss.

You can also find her in touhou wikia.

  • Hmm... maybe Keine can tell us what REALLY happen at the beginning if the universe... oh wait, nevermind. I always go the Keine for the answesrs =3

  • This is my fav IN stage theme...

  • Wiiiithout a doubt.

  • Why are Stage 3 themes so great? Chinese Tea, Doll Maker of Bucuresti, Walking the Streets of a Former Hell, The Gensokyo the Gods Loved, etc.

  • Just how it is. Don't forget Romantic Children!

  • As you know, each game has a demo. In those demos, there are only three stages. So he wanted to make all those stages sound awesome, like final-stage-ish themes. He says it himself in one of the song descriptions in the Music Room of a game, I don't remember which though. I think it's this theme, but not sure.

  • This is probably the best of the stage three themes, although Shanghai Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea has always been nice too.

  • Possibly Doll Maker of Bucuresti (Stage 3 Theme of PCB, Alice's stage), but yeah this is awesome. :D

  • That was bad and you should feel bad.

  • He should feel very bad.

  • Oh wow. That has far out done the "U N OWNED" comment I made on another vid.

So hard to be the lamest.

  • ...I actually thought it was funny.

  • I LOVE this song for some reason. :3

  • Sounds 8bit

    but FUCK YEAH KEINE

  • FUCK YEAH KEINE

  • woot!

  • Keine!!!
