You watch a video of a pack of Hyenas taking down a Wildebeest, or some other large prey animal, they start ripping and tearing at the creature long before it is dead. The "Experts" say the animal probably doesn't feel any pain, because they DO go into shock But you listen to that animal's moans and groans, and it's hard to imagine that they are not feeling any pain. I kind of like this video in the way that it doesnt show much of the time when the tiger is eating the animal, I mean, I know it is tiger's nature to kill and the rule of "survival of the fittest", but I hate it to see small animals are screaming out of pain or when they they are being eaten alive, I just dont want to see those scenes where blood and meat is being bite off by a tiger.

tigers do usually strike a fatal blow, because that immobilizes the prey and makes it easier to defend and eat. but that's not true of all animals. the asiatic wild dog is a prime example. it doesn't have the strong limbs or large jaws to strike one fatal blow, so packs of wild dogs starts eating live prey, which eventually dies from blood loss or pain-induced shock or something like that.
