860 million dollars it still would take 19 yrs to add up the cost of ONE 9/11.......how soon we forget.....another attack and we will be begging for armed air marshals on planes as soon as they are taken off.....you can't judge their success based on arrests...cmon seriously how often do people attack planes....this congressman is a joke....these arent U.S. Marshal or FBI agents that are EXPECTED to make lots of arrests.....i for one feel safer knowing a Air Marshal could be on my flight
@ TheFirearmEnthusiast......first off alot of pilots DO carry firearms.....only as a last resort are they to be utilized though.....why would u want your pilot comin out of the flight deck and potentially putting themselves at risk?....who would fly the plane should they fail?.....second off this whole debate is pointless.....does anyone even know how much money 9/11 cost this country?....i believe it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 19BILLION dollars....so what we allocate 860 million
