  • Yu have no idea wtf yur doing stick to video games!

  • @parapelegicBUD

Yes, I can tell you are an expert. It takes so much skill to drive a side by side up a smooth hill and down again. Nobody cares.

  • @parapelegicBUD Well, they made it up, and without breaking anything, so it really doesn't matter if it was perfect or not. No, the technique was not perfect, but we all have to start somewhere. Why criticize people?

  • Props to my fellow 5 speed off roader!! a real man knows how to control his stick!!

  • my civic could make it up that no problem

  • @lilshortys309 "My Civic could make it down that no problem." There, fixed it for you.

  • @VenomM4 haha that too

  • why i hate sticks

  • So Jeep made a XJ Rubicon? lol just admiring your Rubi sticker. Love an XJ.

  • venom you just kicked hughes ass!!!!ahahahaha great vid man good driving i have a cherokee too but i need to throw some cash into it

  • it's called don't stop all the time dumb ass!

  • These type of obstacles are designed to stop vehicles. 95% of the people who think they can just run at it and make it either break something or bounce of the logs. Then the dumbass's who cant keep their foot out of the throttle sit and dig the dirt out of each ramp. Foot to the floor all the time is just an excuse for people that cant drive and want to break stuff. The jeep has a 5spd, open/open diffs and a stock front axle at the time of this video. Thanks for watching.

  • @VenomM4 Agreed. I could tell it was a Stick shift just the way you were throtalling it when you let off the brakes. Nice Job up the log hill

  • There is a hill in dresser WI just like this, and i agree with you but i did bonzai my samurai up it with no issues, just a spring over and rear locker, didnt break anything. But like i said your right its not to bright to just floor it but if u keep a steady foot just to keep the wheels going you will be just find.

  • @VenomM4 OWNED HAHAH

  • @VenomM4 DAM he told u! lolz

  • @VenomM4 My XJ also has a 5spd and obstacles such as this will test how well you can use a clutch. You didn't stall it or go rolling backwards, so you did pretty good.

  • @dhughes113 he needs to lower tire pressure so it forms to the logs it would be a breeze

  • An exhaust with holes in it!

  • It only has 1 hole, its called a turndown at the end of the tailpipe. No leaks or cracks or rust holes. But it truely is stock exhaust with just a flowmaster 40.

  • it sounds like a beast!!! what kind of exhaust is on that?!

  • Stock exhaust to save torque with a Flowmaster 40 muffler.

    Thanks for watching...

  • @VenomM4 wut engine is in that bad ass thing

  • @cadetbirman21

Stock Jeep 4.0 with stock exhaust and a Flowmaster muffler.

  • Very nice. Love the way those front wheels are biting in. Sweet ride. What does it have on it? Manual, Automatic? Throw out the specs dude. Slow and steady is the name of the game though but love the way it powers through it. Good job on that XJ.

  • Dunno, just doesn't look fun to me.

  • i love jeeps, but that run for me would seem more like a pain in the arse than fun

  • wicked jeep! I wanna have another jeep but a cherokee!

  • Driver sux in this vid

  • This is up in Gilbert right? Im from Two Harbors an am thinkin of headin up there with my XJ sometime.

  • Correct, its the Gilbert OHV park in Minnesota. I highly recommend it, lots of trails at different skill levels.

  • I like how they drive. Gas it brake. gas it brake. instead of just giving it gas and using their momentum through the whole thing =P

  • Nice I did something like this i a stock 92 Dodge Dakota Sport love that truck

  • Good ol' High Voltage! Is that the one when I'm up at the top with a pissing radiator????

You did do a nice job on that one, especially with as wet as everything was that weekend. You coming up wheeling soon????

  • Neevr mind, just looked at when it was posted. When was that??? Crawl 4 The Cure???? Or just a fun weekend??

  • Good driving! Whats up with your mirrors?

  • they look like mirrors off a tj wrangler

  • nice jeep, nice climbing.

some people dont seem to understand that not everyone wants to trash the rig

  • Hey nice XJ just wondering i haave a stock jeep xj 4.0, and was wondering if i got say a 4 inch suspension lift with mabey 32-33 inch tires would i have to be worried about the axle ratio or the strength , or can they hold those tires, and anything else i should be concerned about?, thanks

  • it's all going to depend on how you wheel(hammer down or finess) and where you wheel(mud is more forgiving than rocks)

and what rear axle you have in your xj.

    dana 35, dana 44 or chrysler 8.25

as for the gearing it is liveable but your gas mileage and power will go down and optimally you should re-gear

  • Looks like fun! I love log crawls.

  • nice climb wouldn't have been a lot easier with lower tire pressure

  • I think you did good dude, i know that the camera isnt doing it any justice. Nice rig but the only complaint i have..Is your Rubicon stickers....Unless your rig has D44's F/R, Roc Trac, lockers F/R and your T-case is a 4:1 then nevermind, but other than that, I think you held your own. Keep it up dude!

  • Thanks for the comment.

No, it doesent have Rubicon drivetrain under it. It has an 8.8 in the rear, detroit lockers, and its currently getting a Tera Low 4.1 kit.

Ive been told I should take them off. For another reason... In the video I dont have lockers yet. Just the Ford Posi. Funny thing is the real Rubicon Wrangler in the group couldent make it up. Had to winch it. Watch my other videos and you will see rigs with bigger tires and lockers F/R had a harder time than me.

  • sick truck learn to drive it.

  • Thanks for the comment. As for learning to drive it, I have reviewed your videos and realized that by learning to drive it you mean give it hell and hope it dont break. I'm past that stage and perfer my equipment to stay in nice shape while still getting me through the obstacle.

  • ya I know what you mean those video's are from when i first got my jeep though. But your right thats what i would have said back to that comment. I realized that blowing through parts on my jeep was getting old. but i still think you could have handled those stairs a bit bettter.

  • how much were lockers for that

  • what do u think a Cherry bomb pro would sound like?

  • Like crap in my opinion. I had a cherry bomb on my old cherokee. It was loud, but it had no tone and it didnt sound aggressive. I would go with the Flowmaster. Again, thats just my opinion.

  • nice jeep man i have a 2001 with a 6.5 inch lift and 35s but i swaped the 4.0 with the 5.7 hemi dana 60 rear and fronts a danna 44 locked and 4.56s and custom hood with a airgrabber hood

  • sickkkkkkkk haha post a video of it

  • all i have is a digital cam with no mic my old cam broke i will tryn get on soon just moved outta state and trying to get settled in

  • what type of exhaust you got on that thing?

  • Flowmaster 40 Original series. 2.5" pipe all the way back.

Thanks for posting. Hope that helps.

  • u need lockers man and super swampers

  • At the time this video was taken, it had a limited slip in the rear. It now has a Detroit locker in the rear. The tires are 34" Interco Trxus MT's, in other words, they are Super Swampers.

    Thanks,

    Brian

  • what do u mean lockers

  • I hate how people diss other peoples ability to do stuff and then they say shit like...I bet my stock cherokee could do that. like everyone is saying, cameras give no justice to how difficult something looks and no your stock POS xj could not do that.

  • floor it the hole way

  • Flowmaster 40 series with 2.5" pipe all the way back.

    Thanks for posting.

  • haha awesome i just ordered that like 2 days ago for my XJ now that i know it's gonna sound like a fuckin beast im stoked. i got that Rusty's Xj performance package

  • It was not as loud at first. When it was first put on I was a little suprised. But give it a few hundred miles and the story changes. Once that muffler burns in a little it sounds like a raped ape. Enjoy!

  • Now, I don't rightly know, but from the looks of this I think my stock Cherokee could handle this little log climb. Why did you make it look so difficult?

  • Remember that cameras do no justice to difficult obsticles. It is steeper than it looks. The logs are also positioned in a way to trap either a front or rear axle. Combine that with the fact my vehicle is a manual so theres more rocking than with an auto. I know the capabilities of a stock XJ, I doubt a stock XJ could make it to the top. The t-case and X-member are to low and would hang up. View my other videos and you will see other XJs had more trouble than me.

  • I agree the camera does not do you justice. I have a manual as well and know what your talking about. I do appreciate the fact that you didn't get all butt hurt from my comment. Keep wheelin and posting your vids!
