Looks like your outfielder didn't do his job and back you up. As for you, just need to work on your speed to get to the bag faster. Also for the record, I've been stepped on too and yes it hurts lol.

to me it looks like the 2B did get to the bag (look at it closely) but the 1B or P threw the ball behind him so he had to dive/fall for it, it also looks like the outfielder threw the ball to the 2B so i guess he was backing him up
