  • too bad he doesn't have the CIA, NSA and the U.S. Military (basicly the raw muscle that Bush n Co. have) to take control and do what is right and what is needed.

  • Wow dennis may be a huge socialist, but he sure as hell has some common sense.

  • i love how this government not only screws us by killing our currency, they're also driivng up the cost of food. god bless america.

  • i heard that a fairly low % of the available geothermal energy is being harvested. the people in Djibouti are starting to build a geothermal plant to produce el that is now being produced by burnin oil at something like 1/3 the price.

  • Go Dennis!

  • Sorry, but I'm voting for ron paul, kucinich is too liberal for my taste and yes industrial hemp is the solution, but other forms of ethanal is a solution as well, like brazilian sugarcane and Praire Grains and switchgrass.

  • However kucinich hasn't talked about sugarcane ethanol.

  • Right on target. Ethanol is a bad idea long-term! Using our farmland to grow alternative fuels will only make food for ourselves and our livestock more expensive.

  • plus, it takes about 1 gallon of oil in order to produce 1 gallon of ethanol.

  • Corn used for ethanol isn't fit for human consumption... we can't feed people with this corn,, do your research and maybe someday you might have a chance to be the President.

  • He's not saying use the ethanol corn to eat...he is saying that when farmers plant ethanol corn, they eliminate growing corn that people need to eat...and that drives the price of edible corn up. Listen again and see if this is what he is saying. This is how I understood it. However I am not biased against Kucinich, and you might be..so...listen again without a bias...

  • Once again, Kucinich is able to see beyond the short term and focus on real solutions. The man has insight people. He's smart, we desperately need that in a president.

  • Here in Kansas at least, corn farms have too much excess corn that they can't sell, and it's putting them out of business. That's what the ethanol business is all about, it gives them a place to sell their corn. It has no effect on people actually receiving food, it doesn't trade off. That's what Kucinich doesn't get.

I'd still vote for him, though.

  • John Kanzius can *crack* H20 with RF energy. So far the DoD has put a black lid on the invention.

  • WoW! Speaking about corn issues to the Iowans.

    That takes orbs!

Dennis would get the onto a better crop that would produce greater bio-mass and be a true market force.

Not just a huge Tax payer subsidy to Big Ag.

Go for it! Vote with Dennis!

  • Dennis Kucinich only candidate worth voting for.

Dennis Kucinich 2008! The mainstream candidate.

  • Kucinich - Dec 15.

    december152007 . com

  • Legalize industrial hemp it is by far the most efficient plant for ethanol and a wide variety of useful natural products.

    Biodegradable fuel, oil, plastic.

    Kucinich is right on!

  • Corn isn't the only way to make ethanol. Granted we need to find other ways to deal with our energy and fuel problems, but ethanol could be made sustainable thus showing your lack of research and motivation to actually lead.

  • Gravel, 2008. If that's not possible, Kucinich.

  • Thank you so fucking much, Dennis. We need your ingenuity in the white house...

  • We need to move toward nonrenewable fuels and sustainability.

But corn based ethanol is inefficient. It takes about a gallon of fuel to make l gallon of corn based ethanol. Other crops are more efficient and more practical.

Kucinich is the only credible candidate running as far as I am concerned.

Register democrat and vote Kucinich in your state primary!

  • Thank you for being the heart of the race. Dennis is smart and trustworthy. His record speaks to that. I'm from Iowa City, but I'm in the military currently stationed in Korea. I wish I could be there to stand for Dennis Kucinich during the Caucus. Please stand for me, and stand for peace.
