In 1964 my father was assigned to March Air Force Base in Southern California. I had never witnessed a football play, let alone a game in my life. My dad was able to acquire a sideline pass for us to watch the Rams warm-up against the 49ers. That was my first exposure to football. I saw ALL FOUR Of THEM. Before there was The Purple People Eaters, The Steel Curtain, etc. etc..- It was The Fearsome Foursome. The Rams didn't have much -but these four men were good enough. Real Untouchables!!!
