In the UK you can buy a normal, realistic coloured gun if you play regularly at a legal, fully insured Airsoft site, and can provide evidence to prove it.

Players only need to buy a two-tone gun (at least 50% brightly coloured), if they want a gun, but haven't been playing long enough to get the evidence they need.

@AhmadAlony123 This is the UK! Aside from the occasional Adder we have no dangerous animal or reptiles. Even Adders are fairly safe, they rarely attack...

Most other wild animals over here are fairly timid and rarely hang around in places that are regularly used by humans!

@JUMPINGMAD1 pistols are faster when up close and accuracy isn't an issue, they're also generally lower powered so using a pistol when up close is nicer for the guy on the receiving end, it's being sports manly :)

i think the fact that recochet doesn't count is a bad thing cuz it creates more space to cheat .

@SuperLetterbomb I agree, If it is a hard ricochet (Bounce on a wall then hit player) then it should be a hit. A soft ricochet (Bouncing 3+ times around before hitting a player is not a hit.) You can feel the diffrence. You see several times at that vid, they look at where the ricochet hit them and it's clearly a hit. In real life they would be dead or injured beyond functional operatives. Tho this is just airsoft.

@CaneGtR IRL a bullet would go through the wooden walls behind which we hide, should we also accept hits if they hit the wall in our general vicinity? Real bullets are also don't ricochet like BB's do. Why complicate the game more than necessary?

@CMRDIvan Let's just say cover is cover.... but when a ricochet hit you almost as hard as a plain hit then imho it should be counted as a hit. I don't find that complicated at all. To often has i seen someone being hit and tried to mask it as a ricochet. And since you had to bring up that wooded walls contra real bullets, do as we do... put up paper based walls that can be shoot through.

@smarttubber123 shotguns are only good in cqb and there are 2 different types of shotguns there are ones that only shoot 1 bullet at a time and can travel for a while and there are ones that shoot multiple at a time and as far as operation its usually just a pump action wich is pretty self explanitory personally i would recomend a spring shotgun for around $40+ cuz if u get gas or co2 ur not only gonna be paying a bunch for gas but a lot for th gun. and anything less than 40 will completely suck

@smarttubber123 im not sure the exact price for the co2 i believe its like 2 bucks for a small bottle and 1 bottle will last u about 5-10 mags depending on how much the gun uses and yea the co2 usually goes a lil further and is a lil more powerful but unless u got some money to spend i would recommend the spring

I have some friends that have had the UTG spring multishot shotgun for several years and they still work just perfectly, another plus about it compared to an expensive gas shotgun which requires more maintenance and is more susceptible to breakage.

amazing pistol to primary swap there at 5:10 ... so pistol is empty, holds it in one hand and starts taking the primary, then thinks of the fact that it's very hard to use both... so tries to put away the pistol, drops it in a stylish manner (sort of) , takes the primary, realises he's holding it upside down, flips it over, takes a second to think about what to do next and THEN GOES INTO COVER, what part is in the wrong place, i wonder... getting into cover is the first and far most important

@airsoftm4man In the UK MEDs are usually only enforced on Sniper Rifles (usually 30 feet minimum).

As we tend to use lower FPS guns than other countries, it's much safer for us to shoot close. Many sites though will ask for plays to only shoot on semi at close range.

@xSoOSeRiOuSx depends on how hardcore these guys are right? :-p i often play with just glasses or goggles for protection, no thick clothing or vest, long sleeves, gloves etc... a t-shirt and a light assault vest will do me nicely in these summer games, maybe a hydration backpack, but that's not for protection :-p and about getting injured, just don't get shot mate ;-)

Interesting cheat system! on our arm bands we have a number, when someone believes a player is cheating the reporter goes up to the player and takes his number, if no possible explanation is given the "cheating" player is observed until they are deemed innocent or guilty! And then they are put on the DIRTY CHEATING BASTARD BOARD!
