By the way, the hit recording of this song was also a live performance, recorded at Los Angeles's legendary Whiskey-A-Go-Go.

Here, the "Hollywood Palace" musical director/studio bandleader made a nice arrangement, adding a "James Bond Theme"-type sound to this song, which works well.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a mockery! Of course Johnny Rivers belongs in it. So do The Moody Blues, Carly Simon and others. They leave out deserving artists and put in people like George Clinton and Funkadelic, Mahalia Jackson, Bill Monroe. The list of those who should be in and aren't and those who are in but shouldn't be goes on and on. The RR Hall of Fame has no credibility!
