I became a fan of the Oakland A's and RH at age 5. He was my fave player until I turned 16 and I had the same thing happen to me. This is exactly how he treated me at the hotel the A's were staying in back in 1988 versus the Angels. Several other players were cool about signing autographs: Dave Stewart, Carney Lansford, Dave Henderson, Jim Corsi and Canseco (go figure!) but not Rickey. Kinda let me down but life goes on.
