QT is about as legendary as AIDS, that's not a good thing. He has made a career out of ripping off more obscure films and trying to pass it off as an homage.

I could not care less what QT thinks about anybody, he's nothing but a thief. Granted, a thief who writes decent dialogue, but that doesn't stop him stealing entire scenes. You may overlook that, but many others don't.
