The best change of command I've ever had was when our new CO just spoke a few words and gave us his commander's intent. . . took like 4 min. . .

This is the funniest fucking thing to see....I don't really know why....but I laugh myself silly. Maybe, um, cause it happened to me in tech school? Yeah....tech school, we were on parade, and we were fucking standing in the texas gd heat for an hour, and I was concentrating on "DONT LOCK YOUR KNEES", when all of a sudden, I felt someone trying to pull my head out of my drum. All I remember saying was: "UUUUUUghhh....wha ta fck happppen...." Huh? who?? mee?? huuuuhhhh.....ughh.....

YYyyo. I was holding the Unit Guidon in June of 1995 in EL PASO TEXAS for our change of command ceremony. For crying out loud COlonel Lewis just went on and on. I felt my skin get cold, then the ears start to ring, Next thing I know,..everything starts get gray. BOOM,...waking a brotha up behind some trees and I was like "Damn,..what happened?" :) Wished I had it on tape.

I'm a Canadian Army Cadet we did a parade it +46*C weather last year, cadets fell flat on their asses or faces so much even the Guard cadets who do drill everyday.
