I noticed that Mercury turned his finger into a flame to set off the robo-cannon. That made about as much sense as Mercury turning into Mercuric Fulminate, an extremely explosive chemical, just by getting over-heated. (He detonated then and blew the microbots, himself and the other metal men to random atoms !). The chemistry in these stories is far-fetched.
