Yeah, he ran out onto an interstate and got high centered on the concrete median - once the tank stopped the cops jumped up on the turret and got the hatch open and yelled for the driver to stop and come out. after ad while when he would not come out and continued to try and drive the tank i believe they shot him ... dont quote me on that one though

@iMovme6 What a coincidence. I just saw an old Police show rerun today and they showed that. But you were right. The cop shot the man inside on his shoulder. He said that when he opened the "lid" the man inside just looked up at him with absolutely no expression at all, calm as could be.

So many of these manouvers were for the camera. In the field you would not want to abuse your tank in fear of breakdown, plus you'd be surprised how many broken limbs were suffered to make all the shots of tanks jumping over embankments, going over gullies etc etc
