  • Hi

If you are interested in creating and tracking a Shotlist on the move from an iPhone or iPad, take a look at our "ShotList" app. View a video at youtube.com/watch?v=b_J8QhDSCXo.

  • hold down 9.... hahaha

  • if any one is looking to contribute in a big project, look up the venus project

  • yea im going to be using celtrx

  • I've been making films since the sixth grade and we never have scripts, screenplays, story boards, or shot lists. I make films impromptu style. Sure it doesnt work out all the time, but me and my other film friend have made many good/great short films and even a feature lenght almost. Just work how you work best. Filmmaking is art, and theres no rules to art. Theres no one way to make a movie. Yeah realistically it may be easier to be a bit prepared.

  • yea im making a movie tonight we ggot no script or storyboard to much work but it would help

  • you are a cunt

  • well pre-viz ( MOVING STORYBOARDS ON A COMPUTER- looks like animation _ and much of this can be seen on some dvds extras ) has replaced storyboards

  • Hey I'm fifteen and I've decided that I want to go to film school and everything. Add me if you want to just chat about what your going to do in the future because so far I'm don't know whether to go to film school or not. Anyone with a lot experience in this subject, I'm open to any helpful advice.

  • same i am 15 and i am making my own short films

  • thanx for sharing

  • thank you he really needd that you fucking freak

  • well it appears you don't know about making movies, beacuse I have spoken with real movie directors and ppl that are involved in this business, and they all told me that stroyboards, shot lists, a script and a draft, is all something that u should have, one cause if you have it planned you will be able to minimize the budget, and effeciently make ur movie.

  • what is the first step to making a movie? is it the story board or the script cuz i really need to noe!

  • depends on your preference. I usually write everything down first when I get an idea and then when a visual comes to my head I write the storyboard.

  • having an idea is a good start, then write down characters, themes, plot, character profiles and their backstory. then script then storyboard, cant do a storyboard without a script.

  • @westwoodl sure u can

  • Script should be the first one. After the script is finalized, story boarding would be next to illustrate some scenes in the movie.

  • I would say the script if you are more of a writer.. but if you are more visual then i would say a storyboard.

  • 0:22 my bad lol

  • lol

  • yeah you are definately correct, if you dont have the list then youre screwed cause you might miss something you had to shoot on the location......

  • You'd think a video on storyboards and shot lists would incorperate a video with more than one shot.

On the plus side, your compositions okay and its pretty well lit.

  • Cool 5/5 thanks man
