Ya you gotta remember to add the G chord which happens on between the B and the A in both the verse and chorus (right after there ain't no truth in action for example) that other dudes right .. It makes the entire song and is extremely off without it ... But other than that .. Awesome playing man .. I wish I could get my possum riff to sound as good as yours .. Mines always off
Hey man, I appreciate the comment. That little riff is a good one for blues, toughens it up a bit. I think the same one you're talking about I do twice at 00:09.
Basically i'm playing an "E" chord, and I just hold that E, but take off my ring finger, bring it to the low E string, play the 3rd fret "G", and then pull off to the open E again.
I hope that makes sense. Theres a variation of it on the A chord at 02:04. Have fun

Missing the G chord before the A chord. It makes the whole song. Keep trying as phish is very very tricky.
