I was at this gig,it was done down in London for channel 4 and went out live, the tickets were free but you had no idea who was on that day,Tygers Of Pan Tang,Mamas Boys and McCoy were on too, that is me at the front in a white T shirt at 1.26.
Hey Bonkymonk, Robin never supported Magnum but he did play guitar on their 11th hour tour and he never used effects pedals. You've come over as a bit of a knob to be honest! Get your facts straight.
fans of robin and heartline may like to know this has been remastered and released on angel air records with 7 other releases produced by or made by robin including tracks with Life and the original Notorious sessions "Radio Silence"
robin and john have been working together recently on a track called wasted time for the Damage Limitation charity project, further details/vids of this can be found on the robin george or damage control websites

God i'm OLD...remember seeing this when it was first transmitted (I think on Channel 4 in the UK) name of the show escapes me at the mo..............cool
I'll work them out for you and post them, maybe tomorrow if I get time. He used to have a nice pair of BC Rich guitars with Khaler trems. Those were the guitars I worked on for him. One waw a natural finish, the other was a silver metalic finish.
OMG I can't believe someone also taped this off TV -, I recorded on the off chance and that was it - I used to come home after a night out and be the neighbour from hell with this video blasting - the live version is fantastic, why Robin George wasn't a rock god is beyond me.
Thank you thank you, I've now downloaded it on my lappy for secret listens/views whenever I want!
I've got the original clip on a Kerrang video, I'll work out how to convert and upload - been meaning to do that for ages, I've so much obscure stuff I've recorded that should be seen!

Saw him support Magnum in the mid 80's. He whined to his roadie when his effects pedals weren't right. He came over as a bit of a knob to be honest.

Robin George is sooo awesome. Brilliant musician, song writer, and producer. One of the most under rated musicians.

I think main part goes like this C# A E B
and then step down F# E D# (I just play this as single notes). Slide up from G# to the A sometimes. Hope that helps?

I had the biggest crush on him after seeing the "Heartline" Video in the 80's. I have the LP this song came off of. It's a pretty good album.
