  • wow I have been looking for this kind of tutorial for months!!!!! i'm so glad i found it. I am using Excel 2010 and Excel 2011 (MAC) and this will be a lot of help when I make my dashboards dynamic. Thank you for sharing this information.

Is there a way you can send me the file so I can play around it and incorporate it in my file?

You can see number 23 is in third place and four, 10,16,17, I would like to generate a list of positions for any number I choose, in this case for 23 the list will be 3,4,10,16,17, how is possible to do in excel 2003.

  • Yes, it's pretty easy.

  • @37no37 Yes, it's not hard. What is your email address?

  • @wjj4832 thank you my email is planethombre@yahoo.com

  • Can I get a copy of this excel file so I can play around with it?! Please?!?!

  • I've been looking for something like this ALL week!

  • I just discovered this and it's awesome. I'm new to this and and wondering if you are able to ahsre the source code to try this out on our own?

  • Now that is bad ass! Nice job man.

  • @notta3d Thanks a bunch. Things like this just seem to make sense after years and years of doing the same repetitive actions. I just synchronize three chart objects' data sources to a single listbox control and Zing-Wah, as they say!

  • Could anyone help me? I trying to create non-dynamic and if its works then I will link it to Access DB.

  • Wjj4832, I am trying to create a dashboard similar to this for capacity report. I would like to create 4 table in my dashboard....Table 1: Device, Interface Name, Description, Speed, Bits_In, Bits_Out, Bandwidth_In, Bandwidth_Out....Table 2: Device, Interface_Name, Errors, Discards, Tunnels, QOS_Status, availability... Table 3: Device, Interface_Name, CPU_MaxUtilization%, CPU_Utilization%, MEM UtilzationMax%, MEM_Utilization%. Table 4 (forecast table), Bandwith Utilization for next 18 month

  • @aamirshah36 Can you draw up a design for what the dashboard should look like?

  • hi,this is very nice post. this is so great, is there a way you can share the source code or build this one from scratch? I want to make data similar to this one but different data..thanks

  • hi there,

man thats awsome, you what i am looking to make something like this, i can create non-dyanmic dashboards but want to create dynamic dashboard. if you dont mind and have time can you please help me out in this.

    I will very greatful

    many thanks

    Adeel

  • Thanks. The version I put together at work is far more impressive. Sadly, Excel 2007 runs far slower than Excel 2000 because of all the extra cells to recalculate. My dashboard at home screams and the refresh rate at work is at a snail's pace.

  • Awesome!
