  • I know better than this. What about an aqua city that rises and falls with the tides up and down many support columns that house geared down torque generators.no cons just pro and realestate to sell for the investor who have the vision.large

  • @aquapulsefuel I to have always thought harnessing the power of a floating body on the rise and fall of tide should be a way of powering a generator. After all a thousand ton ship is lifted and dropped in a harbour. In simple terms attach this floating vessel to a fixed beam and then its mechanical or hydraulic power from the other end of the slow moving beam.

  • Tidal fences are basically next generation tidal barrages. Also, they aren't being researched as much as stream generators right now, for better or for worse.
