  • One of the schools performed this play for the One Act Play UIL competition. They copied everything from the actual movie; the costumes, the lighting, the scenery, the acting (every gesture), EVERYTHING, and they advanced. The judge was an idiot. You'd think that with 43 years of experience he'd notice something like this.

  • i'm doing this for my drama exam

Im the part of Adie and it is an amazing play full of tention and suspense

    LOVE IT!!

  • Julie Nimmo is beautiful, she has the nicest accent

  • ...those Glasgow accents are horrendous - just ghastly...

  • @constansavictrix an accents and accent...It's their identity in a sense...

  • ...this play can't be set in the present day, in the cold North

  • a seen it last night dynamite ppo!!

  • going to see this tomorrow, studying it for my higher drama!

  • I love this play and can't wait to see the new adaptation. :D I didn't realise that the new version was set in Glasgow. (Love how all the names are changed as well eg Adela = Adie).

Do you know if the new versions of the play will be on sale at the performances? Would really like to buy it for myself.

  • Yep, the play texts will be on sale along with a wonderfully informative and insightful programme!
