yeah the wig gag was big and one of the highlights of the show hahahahaha, probably one of the funniest gags they made about a celebrity.... they should do new ones, bring it back for good and have idiots like katie price on there so we can all laugh at them taking the piss out of her hahaha.
There was an American in work of Spitting Image, even though most British, and basically, America does, it's called Family Guy, only Spitting Image is more funnier and classic.
@SteveBraithwaite They tried to do a an American version in the 80's I think. They wanted to have Regan losing the Presidential Election to Micky Mouse. The Network would not allow it and they changed it to him losing to Uncle Sam. The whole show was limp and insipid due to network interference. The pilot was never picked up...... What a surprise!
@TheDavynator0 I think the problem maybe, was one of TV and political culture. At the time British Politics was very colourful and British TV networks were willing to push the envelope to sometimes quite a large degree. US politics has been arid for decades and their networks are renowned for caution and not upsetting their sponsors. That was then, now to some extent, the position has reversed.
