  • made in brazil very good!

  • I got 617 wish it shoots 357 mag i habe put over 2000 rounds and 20 yrd i putall 8 rounds in ur head on. Double action so is all about practice and for the guy about the trigger have to b lingten my wiffy is 5 2 150 and can shoot it fine for those the wprefer ligth over heavy i say go with wht ever ur accured with not with some u can shoot fine just because is ligth i think to compromise a litle

  • what was the grain of the ammo you were using to measure the weight of these revolvers

  • This is the type of gun I want. :(

  • Taurus 851 or Ruger LCR ?

Trying to decide between the two.

  • Taurus really has to address that near impossible trigger pull in these small frame revolvers. Women often choose them rather than semiautomatic pistols but can't pull the trigger. Maybe they should think about lightening the trigger and hammer springs at the factory .Then women would be able to pull it.

  • @dannyfivefifty

    learn about how revolvers work

  • @GunWebsites I don't understand what you mean by that. You can still have lighter trigger pulls with revolvers. So him "learning how revolvers work" does not make any since.

  • @GunWebsites Learn about guns.

  • An old S&W Airweight Bodyguard(M38-2) RULES!

Proof of that is that the wanky gun grabbers have tried to ban its unique configuration for years, the scums.

S&W has moved the "Bodyguard" name over to other models.

Now it's 438 and 638 that are $150 to $250 LESS than newer designs.

Check them out; you'll be glad you did.

FTX , Wadcutters or Dum-Dums,standard velocity, will put The Smack Down on a Mook that deserves it.

  • I own a m85 .38 model blue finish not so accurate!

  • @hms6114 - I can hit a Soda Can at 10 yards consistently with my Model 85 in Single Action mode. Double action I don't shoot enough to be proficient like that. Considering it's stubby design I think it's incredibly accurate when you practice with it. My house defense gun so I practice quite a bit, 1200 rounds so far in 3 years and the gun still shoots accurate with excellent trigger pull and great feel in the hand.

  • @vulpixgrant well this tells me one thing! practice practice practice! I have fired around 200 rounds so far!

  • @hms6114 Practice, Practice, Refinance the house to get Money for Ammo, and Practice. Took 3 years to put that much lead down range since .38 isn't cheep. But yeah if this is a defensive gun I would recommend putting 50 rounds down range at least every other week or minimally once a month just to keep the feel for it. I love mine, every time I go I take this gun even if I'm only shooting rifles that day. Peace.

  • comes in every russian happy meal :)

  • Thanks for the great overview!

I own a 5 shot Taurus .38 sp. no hammer, double action only. Bought it 20 years ago its very small cost very little and is a brick. It is heavy and always works. I have carried it in total confidence. ONE problem is shooting it at the range will actually bruise your hands. The grips are very small.

  • this guy can do a dual with 4 guns

  • I just though about it. How can you load bullets into it (a revolver) with out them falling out? Is the bullet itself smaller than the cartridge?

  • @RYAN11295 Yes, the cartridges have a lip in the back thats wider than the chamber.

  • @RYAN11295 you have to manually empty them each time!

  • I love Taurus guns, need to get some more

  • I can't understand what a Taurus has over the Smith & Wesson other than price. Save up an extra hundred bucks and buy a nice pre-lock/no lock S&W. Good presentation video regarding a substandard line of Taurus handguns.

  • thanks i liked your recommendations, i'll watch more as i will be in the market down the road and will check out your web site also.

  • manufactured in Brazil, and very expensive, priced at $ 1,400.

  • @rogeriopazduarte the m85 .38 spl blue finished new cost me 399.00

  • @hms6114 good citizen in Brazil, has no right to self defense weapons here only for gangsters

  • Taurus has a good service company and are decent quality.

  • Safe yourself the money and hassel of buying another pistol plus the hit you"ll take because Taurus dosent have any resale value and buy a S&W! BTW smith and wesson are made in USA.

  • only knew that Brazilian and sen

  • Que porcaria é essa ? Brinquedo não e arma!

  • I have a Taurus .357 magnum, and have never had a problem with it. I had a S&W before the Taurus, the S&W gun was a nightmare, only problems with it.

  • do you know if any taurus grips fit the rossi model 351? i want some smaller grips

  • can i by that off you for like 250 im only 14 i want a gun but i have to wait another 7 years in pa

  • DO NOT BUY A TAURUS, THEY ARE THEY WORST FIREARM COMPANY IN THE WORLD. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST, AND THEIR REPAIR POLICY IS A COMPLETE JOKE. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT MY FIREARM GOING ON 3 MONTHS WHEN THEY TOLD ME WEEKS AGO MY GUN WAS BEING WORKED ON, AND THAT I WOULD HAVE IT THE NEXT WEEK. DO NOT BUY A TAURUS GUN, IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG YOU ARE SCREWED AND THEY TREAT YOU LIKE CHOP LIVER. TAURUS IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP

  • There is some misinformation in this video.

    1. The silver guns are made of stainless steel, they are not nickel plated.

    2. The lightweight guns have a steel cylinder and barrel. They have a titanium frame. The narrative says the exact opposite.

  • Nice video bro and i have a Taurus model 85 and its a Titanium .38spl nice revolvers also man.

  • Are they +p rated?

  • @achillesIam101 All of them are, my carry, 85 full stainless-110 Hornady +P Critical Defense and 125gr. +P Rem. Golden Saber, can't go wrong with either. Pretty much 100% reliability and that's what you want in a defensive weapon.

  • I got the black one on the left. Great carry gun safe good power and realllllly lite weight!

  • you gotta love the 38's

  • Ah my carry weapon-the 85 in SS. Beats a plastic framed mousegun all day long. Yea it's heavy but much more controllable than an airlight , and has far more stopping power than a mousegun.

  • made in Brazil, right???

  • Yes Taurus are made in Brazil

  • "i keep a taurus like astronomy, a taurus like a ford.. a taurus like manhattan too much metaphores. all the rapist, robbers, and murders are free, but yet you rather pull me ova and give a ticket to me"?

    papoose

  • @FLpolo DO NOT BUY A TAURUS, THEY ARE THEY WORST FIREARM COMPANY IN THE WORLD. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST, AND THEIR REPAIR POLICY IS A COMPLETE JOKE. • @ouMISjunior Guess I got lucky my pt99 and model 66 has been flawless many many rounds through both, sorry to hear about your taurus cant blame you for being a bit ticked off.

  • @ouMISjunior My uncle has a few Taurus revolvers and never had a problem.

  • @ouMISjunior; No need to badmouth Taurus Firearms just because you had a problem with their service dept. If you had to send one of their guns back that probably means YOU did something wrong to warrant sending it back!

  • I have the Taurus model 605 it shoots 357 mag and 38spl blue finish small just like that,. I perfer that model because it shoots 2 calibers in the same gun!

  • A lot of info about the Taurus Small Frame Revolvers...

    Great Vid :O)

What the Trigger Pull weight on each one?

The one thing I hate about the Taurus, is the over 10 pound Trigger Pull in the DA Revolvers

  • I didn't think to include trigger pull, I'll try to remember to add that in the future

  • Hope Taurus have fix the Triggers, with a lower Triggers pull weight...

    But Time will tell....

  • @SKULLZ0MBIE my rossi .38 is made by taurus the trigger on it feels like 2 lbs

  • great vid bro. im planning on gettin' a taurus revolver too model 617 in 357 magnum. what do you think bout it?

  • sorry but I would recommend a S&W over it.. the Smith will last longer hold resale value and just take the abuse of the .357 better

    just my opinion

I had a Taurus .44 that I hardly used, but it still needed work done to it

  • Do you have any videos on Glock model 17 9mm?

  • a few that talk about the G17, but aside from the RTF Glock videos.. nothing on the G17 specifically .. stay tuned we shouldn't neglect the 9mm Glocks
