All of the losers that are crying over Cesars Methods are a bunch of little bitch Racists with no idea of what a proper relationship between a Dog and it's Human master should be, other than being equal to their dogs... They don't even understand that Dogs are still Pack animals, Wolves!!, and so, follow an Alpha Leader..
The method that Cesar Millan uses is not kicking, it's tapping on the sensitive area of dogs, to distract and clear their minds of an attempt of attack, also, when he uses his fingers it's not to injure the dog, but to mimic the Fangs of another dog. But even those techniques are a last alternative, his main tool is psychology and Human intellect over the Animal... White people tend to place themselves in the same level dogs.

It's a tap, the same as if you wanted to get someone's attention and grabbed them by the arm. He goes for the place behind the ribs because the dog will feel it, it's a fleshy part so it's actually less likely to bruise, and the location gets the dog's attention because it turns around to check "what the hell was that?" A better analogy would be if you were screaming at a one year old and I grabbed your ass. That would get your attention, wouldn't it?

I don't see any kicking here. He is giving the dog a bump, same as you would touch a child on the shoulder or grab their hand to stop them from doing something bad. I work with dogs and horses and both animals sometimes need something to literally jerk them out of their bad habit! I am NOT saying it is okay to use that as an excuse to harm an animal, just that I believe you're wrong where Cesar is concerned.
Those of you that are running down cesar and his methods, what channel is your program on showing your methods for helping dogs with behavior issues? Oh, thats right you don't have a show. Here's what you do then, make some videos of you helping someone's dog (not your own) with behavior issues using your methods and post them to YouTube, never know, if it works as well as cesar's, you might get your own show!
I notice on all of the videos putting cesar's methods down that most of the comments refer to "Training", Cesar says up front that he is not a dog trainer! he's a dog psychologist that rehabilitates dogs after the moron owners have let the dog go psycho! In extreme cases that require the owner to learn how to train their dog cesar will often bring in a certified dog trainer to work with the people and the dog after he has gotten the dog into a better state of mind!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@sixcues Millan's self description is really irrelevant. He also claims he is a dog psychologist which is actually a lie. Psychologists is a protected title, one Millan is not entitled to.
I am a Dog Whisperer and I show this Video to my class to show the right way to do a back tap/kick to a dog that want to kill other dogs or people. I do not teach this to just any dog owner. Just the one that's will be put down if there dog bites again.
OMG This is horrible. It shows you just what kind of a horrible lunatic this man really is. Anybody who follows in his footsteps needs their head examined.

People in Denmark should shut the fuck up. i am from Denmark,i live there
in Denmark it's illegal to fuck and abuse animals sexual, They have mad e anew dog law that 12 races are forbidden, half of them not even muscle dogs, and they kill and take down puppies everyday, more and more and more, they even let them have eyes first, it is terrible.
So Denmark should take a look at THERE cruelty before judging ANYONE!
I am not proud to be a dane when i know these things are happening....
@Thelordofall2 Oh and... the law against animal cruelty is really poor, if a guy tortures an animal, like tie it to a car and drive, he gets a week in prison and a small payment he has to pay, they are often still aloud to have animals in there homes, and Denmark has no animal cops or police of any sort -_-
Milan is going on a European tour. But Denmark is NOT on his list. Last year dog-owners demonstrated against him and his methods. He then cancelled his visit.
90 % of dog-owners in this country are against his methods. "Cesar Millan "The Dog Whisperer" strangles dog. Training? - YouTube". Is this the way to discipline a dog? Positive reinforcement is what we as trainers teach dog-owners. Milans methods are NOT welcome in any dog-traing club in Denmark.
If that's your idea of "Kicking" a dog, you're very mistaken. These dogs have serious aggression towards things. He touches them in a place with very little bone there, yes. But that's because the dog will fight back if its touched in the chest. It'll just be like "alright, cool, i'm going to keep doing this because he's trying to cause a fight" when in all reality, touching a place where dogs aren't typically used to being touched can stop him and make him say "what?"
@TyandTayProductions these dogs are behaving aggressively because Millan forced them into a situation they couldn't handle. The proven approach is to elicit a minor response but not so much so the dog is lost to it's emotional turmoil. This allows the trainer to reinforce proper behavior. And as it has been stated, MIllan has called them kicks. Who are you to say they aren't?
@TheRafaelCarreon I mean a kick as in bruising your dog. I that touching the dog like he does, moving it out of the way, will help. a kick is a forceful movement. that is more like a push. You know what I meant.
@TyandTayProductions People always go for the things that sound great in there mind! I was the same way for many years i wouldn't correct my dog. I went thru thousands of dollars in positive reinforcement even left the dog with a well repsect trainer (not going to say names) and she told me to put the dog down! I went to a correction base meathod with an e-collar! Now his dog aggerstion is still in there somewhere but i haven't seen it in 5 years now! Some dogs need it some dogs don't!
@DontHateTheBlumpkin Well put my friend. And there are many people like you out there too who go through trainer after trainer. The response for that is usually "Well, keep looking then!" But how much is enough? You've had success, now I'm sure the anti Cesar crowd will tell you your dog is living in fear and cowering in your presence. Yeah. You and I and others with common sense knows the truth.
Who made this video? Why people mess with cesars work? Why try to make the all time best trainer look bad? That KICK has nothing to do with violence! This guy knows the key to the dog mind and its his right to keep some of his secrets but for most of em he shareswith globe!! STOP BEING JEALOUS!!!
@sopar3169, as the description that comes with the video indicates, saying Jealous is a retarded comment. The kick is violent and it was directed at you or a 20-80 lb relative you'd think so too.
@TheRafaelCarreon pussies like you dont know shit about violence!Once there was a dog with almost no fur and squeezed from the rib cage VERY TIGHT so he couldn't breath right. But more important his rib cage, back legs and tail was broken.I tried to grab him and untie the cabls but it was very confusing and dog was so scared he tried to bite.Took it to the vet with no hope and poor dig died in their cage same night.
NOQ THATS VIOLENCE!! THIS IS JUST A WARNING TOUCH!! FAST BUT ONLY TOUCH.

Why didn't you post the entire video clips???? Ummm maybe because what he was doing worked... I rather be reprimanded than to be thrown in jail. I believe this goes for these dogs as well they don't want to be in some shelter or pound. Put yourself in "their shoes"
Cesar isn't 100% right in his training, but people rant and rave about a little touch to a dogs side, harden the f--k up. Have you people never played a contact sport? Takes a lot more than a soft tap to HURT. Ever have a friend come up behind you and slap you on the back? Even when they do it hard it is more SHOCKING than it is painful. Thats the whole idea, grab the dogs attention.
@intelrudic2000 see that's a stupid comment about contact sports. You know what to expect. You chose to play. And what's worse you can suffer some serious injuries that in the heat of the moment to register as painful. So if a real injury often doesn't grab your attention, is it perhaps a similar experience for the dog?
Remeber these dog HAVE problems. Cesar isn't dealing with puppies that need training, he is dealing with dogs with long time issues. I don't tolerate aggression or disobedience in my GSD. I don't tap him like Cesar but I touch his ear to GET HIS ATTENTION and thats enough to do it. If he developed issues like these dogs I won't hesitate to use Cesar's technique.
People overreact to what caesar does too much. I'm not a HUGE fan, but seriously... Is he doing an extremely hard kick to the stomach? NO, he's just tapping. Like the guy above me said, would you rather have an aggressive dog that can potentially hurt innocent people/CHILDREN? Or do WEAK kicks as a sign of showing YOU are the BOSS. He isn't kicking or punting the dog. Seriously, he's kicking them from behind with his heel? OUCH that HAS to hurt (Sarcasm)
I'm just saying, what would you do in a situation of an ANGRY dog? Would you just let him be himself? You don't know, because you probably have a dog that's currently always CALM... If you're dog was always angry, he can potentially hurt OTHER animals or HUMANS. Now you DON'T Want that to happen cause you can potentially get sued if you don't have proof of vaccinations etc. Not only that, there has been cases of an UNPROVOKED dogs attacking LITTLE CHILDREN full of blood. Do you want that?
It's not like hes kicking them brutally and repeatedly till the dog shows signs of being hurt... He does that while saying his "SHH" thing. Like he shows HE'S authority. It's not like he brutally hurt an animal or caused it to bleed...
Think about it, how could this guy have his own show, footage of him doing "Harmless" kicks, and still be rich without being questioned by the ASPCA? Because hes doing his job. He knows MORE things than anyone else who commented on this video.
My dog is probably the most well trained mo-fo on the planet & I never had to "tap" her behind her ribs, I ain't one of those 'Animal Rights' nuts, but I see him kicking dogs and that ain't right. Dogs were never intended to even be pets to humans, and then because they behave the way they're wired to, you're surprised? Come on. Don't be dumb asses now.
@aweomae Yes but you most likely started training, and proper training, from the time she was a puppy? He's not kicking the dogs, hes tapping them behind the ribs to break fixation. In a pack the Alpha would do the same thing, biting the flank or the neck. Hes using pack psychology to correct dogs with issues that we as an idiotic race just make worse and worse by not correcting it properly.
You people need something better to do with your life.
He is training a fucking dog they are tough, they can handle a little tap from a shoe god you people need to eat shit and crawl under a rock nobody wants to listen to your shit.
@AboutDogTraining3 Hes not kicking dogs you fucking retard. Have you ever watched what he's doing? Pack tactics is what hes using. Hes doing the same. exact. thing. an alpha in a pack would do. He's fixing dogs that we fuck up. It's a light tap that surprises them and breaks fixation. I've worked with dogs combining his method and NILIF method they've all come out wonderful happy dogs. I've seen dogs playing throw eachother on the ground harder than he "kicks" them.
Your looking at ths from a very human perspective. Dog's arn't like humans, they can't see things from different perspectives. Their behaviour is their own, yet alot of owners expect them to act like humans. So, we must act in a way that they understand. When a dog is acting aggressively or dominating it becomes dangerous and the best way to deal with that is to speak their language, non-abusively. At the end of every episode you can see the change in the dog to a calmer and relaxed state.
WTF is wrong with you. He even explains what hes doing. Pretty much a distraction for the dog so he loses focus to whatever hes attacking or raging against. Its like tapping your kid on the hand when hes not supposed to touch something.
@Pekahbo, . You can believe what he tells you or what you see. They are in conflict. We see him kicking dogs so his explanation is meaningless in the face of the evidence.
Cesar Milan is a great dog trainer and the fact that some people don't recognize how good his teaching methods are is simply absurd and pointless... Additionally, there is no evidence he actually abuses or causes serious harm to the dogs... HE LOVES DOGS TOO MUCH AND DOES HIS WORK PROFESSIONALLY AND WILL NEVER WANT TO HARM A DOG! YOU ALL THAT THINK CESAR DOESN'T TREAT ANIMALS WELL THEN YOU ARE JUST WHINY BITCHES ETC.........
@AboutDogTraining3 im sure all your dogs are spoiled!!! dogs dont need pampering they need a strong positive calm assertive trainer/owner, thats all Im saying and Im pretty sure my opinion is pretty close to a fact.
@titogcubangonzalez Yes they are spoiled because they are trained so they have far more liberties that people who follow Millan. Instead of resorting to kicking like some troglodyte, you should try training. Positive reinforcement works for people and some of the toughest Military and police organizations in the world. You have to be delusional that it wouldn't work for you.
omg! it's so poor. i think sombody is jalous at Cesar! The guy or girl who upload this is jalous at Cesar because his softy technic didn't work. and he is jalous at Cesar now. Because he cant do what Cesar do! This video is a big fail! And not the truth of Cesars technics. i think youre so pathetic! Because youre own dog do not lisent to you! that you want to show with this video that Cesar is a fail to, but the only fail is you!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was it only me who heard Cesar say "its not about kicking". ??? If you use this technice and kick the dog, you are doing it wrong! Anyway, dont you think the dog itself would have made a sound if what cesar is doing were painful? I dont know about you but in my job ive seen a lot of people hitting there animals, and i can assure you. They make a sound when they feel pain!
If anyone believes this trash is science I have some property to sell you here in Florida. Any fool that would even attempt to defend it is completely out of their mind. I have an open challenge on my website to any so called expert who can answer my specific questions. To date, none, not one high priest or altar boy has been able to answer or respond. When dogs don't respond to cookies, treats, hugs and kisses they are medicated, blamed and given up on by these sold out reprobates.
Why does no one see that all the dogs that attack him ONLY do it AFTER he jabs, kicks, pokes? He's causing the aggression. Wake up people, he's an entertainer, not a dog psychologist! His training is laughable, at best.
Those are not kicks! Those are taps with a foot, just using another part of the body. Shoot, you must be somewhat delusional if you thing what he is doing is 'kicking'. Sorry, you are NOT correct, you are NOT exposing anything like you think you are. Get real.
it aint kick its just a tap using feet. does it mean kick? all you cesar millan haters. you don't know anything about dog training. not all dogs can be trained using treats. sometimes you've got to do more but not too much. all i know is that cesar rehabilitates dogs that are uncontrollable not like your dogs that can easily be trained. try get a wild vicious dog and try your "TREAT" training. and let's see who will watch dog whisperer the next day to get some tips.
@ocnside5269 I have lots of dogs. Take a look at my profile. I have videos of them. I treat them well, and I would bet my dogs have a better life than most of the hating hippie's dogs do - albiet, that is partly because I shower and hippies don't.
If my dogs do something stupid I will pinch an ear or whatever it takes. However, they LOVE being with me. My wife is nice to them 24/7. But when I am around they would much rather be hanging out with me. Why? because I am fun and challenging.
Okay, you hippies. Seriously, if you want a dog who isn't going to bite or show aggression towards ANYONE, EVER, than your treat training and trick training methods are useless. Your dog won't respect you or your children. It's stupid and naive to think so. Feral dogs do not give each other treats for doing something right. Wolves do not let lower ranking wolves do whatever they want because they are afraid to look "mean". Learn how to train an animal FIRST and THEN you can complain.
@qwertywertybird No one has a feral dog as a pet. They wouldn't take treats or jabs. So no one would win that one! And the domestic dog is not a wolf. I like how people like to act like some of us haven't successfully trained dogs for 10+ years with nothing but R+ and some R- and yes, that includes highly aggressive dogs too. Maybe because you are an ADO and we are professional trainers/behavior therapists/behaviorists. A little education goes a long way.
@stacythetrainer I NEVER said people own feral dogs or animals. I said "feral dogs do not give each other treats for doing something right" and by that I meant, your type of treat "training" techniques are unnatural for the dog's way of thinking. Learn to pay attention and read before you reply. I have been training champion GSDs in Schutzhund for 7+ years and that takes more brains and work than just doling out treats like you do with your animals. Indeed, a little education DOES go a long way.
@qwertywertybird it's stupid to copy your behavior after dogs. I am constantly amazed by the idiots who don't see the conflict in their mantra "treat a dog like a dog" but at the same time they pretend to be a dog. Aslo the idiocy of copying (badly since it's not what they claim) of an animal limited by cognitive, evolutionary and experiential constraints is beyond belief. Use your brain, stop pretending you are a dog.
@qwertywertybird I can easily say you are an ignorant person. Food reward is the first lesson a dog gets and it works perfectly which is why Police trainers all over the world are switching from the old yank/crank approach. Study done on Dutch working dogs showed a clear superiority for reward based training. BTW, you are an idiot for thinking R+ is just doling out treats, no wonder you are a failure.
I'm totally against Cesar's way to train dogs o_o'' (my dog is very well trained and not agressive and I don,t train her liek that) That's a way to scare the dog of you. Not train him. He don't bite you because he is sooooo scared of you kicking or dominating him (when cesar is done with him.) xD Its a dominating, rough approach, a fucking imitation of the alpha wolf in a wolf gang. That's dogs dude, not wolfs -_- A submissive dog who is scared of me? No thanks.
I prefer and recommend Cesar's touch/sound technique over using treats and bribing a dog to obey for you. He is one of the few trainers that understands positive/leadership energy and using pack mentality. If only you could see videos of dogs in the wild and how aggressive they can be, it'd make Cesar look like an angel. Which he is lol
@seharris11, dog training is not about what you prefer. It is about what works for the dog. What type of training will result in a real emotional change which will affect the symptoms.. ie the behavior. CM fails to understand the real nature of psychology and is far to in love with his dominance views. In just about every episode, the dog is reacting out of fear, so punishment is not going to alleviate that. Cesar is a fool
@TheRafaelCarreon It's so funny how people defend him. Sad too. Bribing a dog to obey for you. All i can do is LOL. I've worked many aggression cases and have yet to be bitten because I wouldn't use CMs methods if my life depended on it!
@TheRafaelCarreon Well, he does the right thing, if he doe'snt puff a bit to them they will get more aggresive, he says in one of he's shows, that he only kicks to show the dog, who's in controle :I
@TheRafaelCarreon Show me some scientific proof that you are not talking out of your arse. Cesar talks a lot of crap sometimes, but that doesn't make you right. Link some peer reviewed articles that shows "dominance training" does not work. Without that, it simply becomes your way vs his way and makes you appear envious of the fact that CM earns a lot of cash for his way and you don't.
@intelrudic2000 you are ignorant of the facts. Various studies show that dominance training is useless or dangerous. Herron's work from Penn State, Casey and Bradshaw from Bristol. Kerkhoves work. or Rosales-Ruiz are all good places to start
It's always disappointing when people like you ask for evidence when it's so easy to find. It tells me that you really aren't interested in learning.
Cesars methods involve what a dog would do in a pack. If the the alpha of a pack would do the same exact thing. He's using a pressure point and he's not hurting the dog one bit. All he's doing is tapping them on the side to break fixation. He uses a light touch on the neck to do the same thing. And choking? Really?
Go hang yourself from a 3rd story window, that's choking.
Try looking at his 60+ well balanced, wonderful dogs all living together. Get a life.
@TheRafaelCarreon When asked what made Manchester united's Sir Alex Ferguson, such a great manager, David Beckham said it was because he was scary. The teacher I admired most from my schooldays was well feared too. For the classes I failed at, I only wish she was my teacher, though, I would soooo have passed! Just as Beckham views Sir Alex, I look back on her with total admiration, respect and fondness. As long as you know the rules, the boundaries, being scared of someone isn't a problem.
@TheRafaelCarreon You realize that's the same spot on a dog that other dogs "punch" with their nose to correct pack behavior That and quick bites to the neck are how dogs tell other dogs "no". If Cesar is a fool, then why hasn't one better dog trainer sent in an audition tape to a competitive channel and gotten a gig? We have all kinds of reality auction/pawn shows, but one Dog Whisperer.
@nstiles42, no sir that's false. Dogs don't 'correct' each other. That would require a complex theory of mind. Meaning one dog knows another dog is doing something wrong. So the dog KICKS (never seen it) the other one because he knows the victim will interpret the kick as some instructive lesson.
Besides, these dogs aren't consciously behaving like this, it's an emotional storm that originates in the amygdala. Kicking won't and doesn't help.
@TheRafaelCarreon "Dogs don't correct"? What do you call it when a dog does a behavior that another dog doesn't like, and they give a quick snap at the offender. Then the offending dog ceases to do that action again b/c of the negative response.
@nstiles42, that's not a correction dude. That is a one dog exceeding the emotional tolerance of another which evokes an aggressive display or actual aggression. They are not "correcting"., they are reacting.
@nstiles42, that's not a correction dude. That is a one dog exceeding the emotional tolerance of another which evokes an aggressive display or actual aggression. They are not "correcting"., they are reacting.
@seharris11 Have you ever seen dogs in the wild? Funny you say that they're violent when the man who dedicated his life to it and who reproduced it for science says completely the opposite. This is why this method of training is so prevalent. You people act like you have any FUCKING IDEA of what domestic dogs in the wild are like. The first thing you'd know is that they BARELY ever travel or work in a pack. Do some real research and LEARN something.
He's basically tapping the dogs in a pressure point with his foot.
It doesn't hurt them as long as there's not top much force. Policemen do this as well and it's really just a self defense move but I suppose it's alright for dog training as well...
@TheRafaelCarreon hay que entender que los perros tienen una psicologia diferente a la humana, y si queremos que el perro nos respete y tenga un buen comportamiento, necesitamos ciertas correcciones. hey lokos! he aint doin anything wrong.. thats a way of alerting the dog. (btw, I was a dog trainer in my country & practicing Koehler Method over 100 dogs....)
what do you guys perfer, the dog going into biting mode, or cesar taking that idea away the dog??.......thats all he is doing by tapping them.........if you want to see a kick, let me kick you in the stomach and see if you'll get up from that little bitches
It's all good and well to criticize the way other people do things but I'm curious as to how you would handle dangerously agressive dogs with positive reinforcement?
@anticrisp99 i dont believe it is possible, many trainers work with already calm and submissive dogs,....cesar works with those real aggressive dogs, and BTW cesar fixes dogs and humans, something that a tipical trainer wouldnt teach you ;) hes the best
he's not kicking the dogs, it’s a tap to grab their attention. there are many ways to train a dog not all are wrong not all are right key word MANY WAYS some need a more aggressive way and others more gentle. Cesar grew up in a different country with dogs, and is very succesful with what he does everyone has an opinion and they think that they are right thats the beautiful thing about america we are all entilted to our own opinion and that’s just what it is an opinion neither right nor wrong
This is abuse weather any of you realize it or not. Do some research, do your homework, and learn about real domestic canine social behavior before you go and support this abusive, border jumping dog groomer!
I agree with TrueGreatness73. Dogs work in a pack, which requires respect for the Alpha. Dogs would be biting and nipping at each other to gain this position. Millan is using the same tactics as dogs so they would understand the message he's trying to send. The "kicks" are hardly kicks at all. They're more of a tap, the distance and pressure contained by his other leg. Have you actually seen someone 'kick' something before? Give us proof that your ways work and maybe we'll rethink his ways.
@Maidenofeire, you can agree all you want. You are still wrong. We know this because people have actually taken a formal study of dog social dynamics. So we know they don't form packs.
It's useless for you to ask for prove, when you are dismissing scientific evidence against packs. Really, unless god told you so you are not willing to learn anything.
@Maidenofeire I agree. My dog almost ripped my other dog's face off just because she wanted his bone. She still tries to take his bone, too. Dogs can be stubborn idiots. I think a surprising jab to the side isn't going to hurt them much.
Dogs are a lot closer to being wolves than furry little children. People learn to use the language of the animal you are training- which anyone can observe in their social groups. To say dogs are capable of higher thinking in the same way a human is, is naive. Cesar's methods save many dog's lives, too bad there are so many people jealous of his success and fame and have to bash him.
Oh the dog will know who's boss alright. He'll also know to be afraid of his compassionLESS owner. When the dog gets stressed, all warning signs will be gone because he won't want one of Milan's kicks or chokes. Instead, you're at risk of that dog suddenly "going off".
@pawsnews How long have you been a dog trainer? Dont let your emotions get in the way of training a dog. I can tell you are a dog lover by the comments you made & I can probably bet you like dogs more than humans. Anyways I would bet my top dollar Cesar has more experience and more knowledge than you do. I would love you to try positive reinforcement training a vicious animal. Let me know how that goes.
@TrueGreatness73, you are letting ignorance guide your beliefs. Not only does R+ work with reactive animals, it is far better for dog and owner since it puts neither in danger.
@TheRafaelCarreon All the dogs Cesar has trained it has worked for them. It seems the only thing that has not work is your attitude towards his method. All of the owners are satisfied with Cesar. Please explain where the "danger" was at? You guys are over emotional. These dogs are fine and doing well except for you. Life must be hard for you guys if you actually find this offensive and think there is "danger" involved.
@TrueGreatness73 That's not accurate. About 50% of the dogs Millan has worked with are just as bad or worse than ever. This doesn't even count the dogs he simply gives up on and trades for one of his own dogs.
Millan acknowledges the danger, which is why he warns at the intro "DO NOT TRY". Millan's often blodied hands attest to the danger. You can shut yourself off from the facts if you like. I prefer to live in reality.
@TheRafaelCarreon Can I have a citation for your claims? I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't go by facts that have no backing, especially when dealing with numbers.
@TrueGreatness73 You havent answered any of my questions but hey, we live in america we are entitled to our own opinion. I just base mine own facts and not emotions. Good day.
@AboutDogTraining3 What science are you talking about? Please enlighten me because not 1 person on here has discussed anything scientific.. LOL.. You dog lovers are so misinformed its funny. Cesar has trained all these dogs well.. You guys are all quick to say hes wrong and yet not give any reasons. Theres a thin line between getting physical and being abusive and you fail to recognize that. Saying boob tube and idiot box doesnt explain your point one bit.
@TrueGreatness73, don't you think it is ignorant of you to defend this without first familiarizing yourself with the science? Frankly it's stupid of you to simply acquiesce because something you heard on TV and you've done no research on it.
@AboutDogTraining3 Like I said you keep spouting out words like "scientific" yet not mention anything scientific. Is this a joke or is this how debate with everyone else you come across? I would love for you to train a lion or any wild animal with "positive reinforcement" and see how far that gets you if you even make it alive. Look at the success Cesar has had. Look at circuses they do something very similar and these animals can jump, flip twist and dance, you name it. Idiot
@TrueGreatness73 Isn't it typical of the Millan zombie to be completely ignorant of the science involved. And even when confronted with the evidence, they turn like cowards ignoring the evidence. The evidence is freely available to you. Get your head out of your ass and look for it. Try google, I hear good things about it.
@AboutDogTraining3 You are not liked by much people and its obvious why. Your pussy gets too wet for the smallest things that happen to a dog. You animal faggots are weird as hell. I bet you eat with your dog and probably even smell like one. I saw the comments you have on your uploaded video. lmao dumb weirdo. Some of you animal lovers go too far and are gay for dogs..
Try this: lay down on the ground, on your side. Have someone come over and give you one of Milan's non-kicks to your stomach. Are you going to tell me you weren't just kicked? No you won't!
I have All the seasons...This video provides me with a good index of some of Cesar's cases so that I do not have to sift through the numerous DVDs to locate an episode. As for the 'Kicking'...what 'Kicking' ??
@pawsnews He's not choking the bulldog and if the owner of that dog was being the alpha properly, none of that would be needed. What is best, to show the dog who's the real leader and get it into submissiveness or let the dog attack anyone coming into the house and have to be put down because it bit someone.
"if the owner of that dog was being the alpha properly"
Give me a break. I guess that concept works if the owner thinks he's a dog!! Maybe that's Milan's problem: perhaps he thinks he's a little Chihuahua and has to dominate everything else.
Positive re-enforcement. It works. Period. Try it.
He's not kicking it idiot poster, he's shooing it away (SHOEing lol) with is foot. I do it too if my dog is looking like he's about to take a crap or go near the trash.
The person that uploaded this has no idea how to train an animal, and I sincerly hope they don't own any. I didn't see any abuse at all here, and although I haven't use his techniques to train any of my animals, I don't belive he is being to harsh. The kicks aren't to hurt the dog, they are to get its attention, I'm not sure what he was doing with the pug, but since I didn't get the whole story I won't make any conclusions there.
to the uploader Dog makes Stress Act whenever they're uncomfortable of what the owner are doing, and He's not choking the Dog.. Infact The higher part of the neck is the most sensitive part of a dogs neck, so he'll be in control, And please Guys!!!! Dont compare his method to Other Trainer,, He Rehabilitates dog, He's not a "TRAINER!!"
@FvckOffDorks You know, most people don't bother reading that part or listening when he states multiple times that he's not a trainer and that there are many qualified trainers if that's what people are looking for. You're totally correct, he's a rehabilitator and oftentimes a last chance for many very aggressive dogs or very desperate owners that are worried about their dog's aggressivity and unable to deal with it themselves.

GeneAlchemist777 1 day ago
@GeneAlchemist777 Millan is kicking the dogs. You cannot clear the mind with violence and any such claim is moronic.

OMG it's two different things you're mixing together. Denmark DOES have "animal-police". It's just not as we know it from USA or England.

Thelordofall2 1 week ago

You people are idiots.
TyandTayProductions 1 week ago
@TyandTayProductions these dogs are behaving aggressively because Millan forced them into a situation they couldn't handle. The proven approach is to elicit a minor response but not so much so the dog is lost to it's emotional turmoil. This allows the trainer to reinforce proper behavior. And as it has been stated, MIllan has called them kicks. Who are you to say they aren't?
TheRafaelCarreon 1 week ago
@TheRafaelCarreon I mean a kick as in bruising your dog. I that touching the dog like he does, moving it out of the way, will help. a kick is a forceful movement. that is more like a push. You know what I meant.

Thats the whole idea, grab the dogs attention.
intelrudic2000 1 week ago
@intelrudic2000 see that's a stupid comment about contact sports. You know what to expect. You chose to play. And what's worse you can suffer some serious injuries that in the heat of the moment to register as painful. So if a real injury often doesn't grab your attention, is it perhaps a similar experience for the dog?
TheRafaelCarreon 1 week ago
Remeber these dog HAVE problems. Cesar isn't dealing with puppies that need training, he is dealing with dogs with long time issues. I don't tolerate aggression or disobedience in my GSD. I don't tap him like Cesar but I touch his ear to GET HIS ATTENTION and thats enough to do it. If he developed issues like these dogs I won't hesitate to use Cesar's technique.
intelrudic2000 1 week ago
People overreact to what caesar does too much. I'm not a HUGE fan, but seriously... Is he doing an extremely hard kick to the stomach? NO, he's just tapping. Like the guy above me said, would you rather have an aggressive dog that can potentially hurt innocent people/CHILDREN? Or do WEAK kicks as a sign of showing YOU are the BOSS. He isn't kicking or punting the dog. Seriously, he's kicking them from behind with his heel? OUCH that HAS to hurt (Sarcasm)
c3nuke 2 weeks ago
I'm just saying, what would you do in a situation of an ANGRY dog? Would you just let him be himself? You don't know, because you probably have a dog that's currently always CALM... If you're dog was always angry, he can potentially hurt OTHER animals or HUMANS. Now you DON'T Want that to happen cause you can potentially get sued if you don't have proof of vaccinations etc. Not only that, there has been cases of an UNPROVOKED dogs attacking LITTLE CHILDREN full of blood. Do you want that?
c3nuke 2 weeks ago
It's not like hes kicking them brutally and repeatedly till the dog shows signs of being hurt... He does that while saying his "SHH" thing. Like he shows HE'S authority. It's not like he brutally hurt an animal or caused it to bleed...
Think about it, how could this guy have his own show, footage of him doing "Harmless" kicks, and still be rich without being questioned by the ASPCA? Because hes doing his job. He knows MORE things than anyone else who commented on this video.

If my dogs do something stupid I will pinch an ear or whatever it takes. However, they LOVE being with me. My wife is nice to them 24/7. But when I am around they would much rather be hanging out with me. Why? because I am fun and challenging.
ShinkleGunDog 1 month ago
Okay, you hippies. Seriously, if you want a dog who isn't going to bite or show aggression towards ANYONE, EVER, than your treat training and trick training methods are useless. Your dog won't respect you or your children. It's stupid and naive to think so. Feral dogs do not give each other treats for doing something right. Wolves do not let lower ranking wolves do whatever they want because they are afraid to look "mean". Learn how to train an animal FIRST and THEN you can complain.
qwertywertybird 1 month ago
@qwertywertybird No one has a feral dog as a pet. They wouldn't take treats or jabs. So no one would win that one! And the domestic dog is not a wolf. I like how people like to act like some of us haven't successfully trained dogs for 10+ years with nothing but R+ and some R- and yes, that includes highly aggressive dogs too. Maybe because you are an ADO and we are professional trainers/behavior therapists/behaviorists. A little education goes a long way.
stacythetrainer 3 weeks ago

No thanks.
Kaella777 1 month ago
I prefer and recommend Cesar's touch/sound technique over using treats and bribing a dog to obey for you. He is one of the few trainers that understands positive/leadership energy and using pack mentality. If only you could see videos of dogs in the wild and how aggressive they can be, it'd make Cesar look like an angel. Which he is lol
seharris11 1 month ago 12

@TheRafaelCarreon Show me some scientific proof that you are not talking out of your arse. Cesar talks a lot of crap sometimes, but that doesn't make you right. Link some peer reviewed articles that shows "dominance training" does not work. Without that, it simply becomes your way vs his way and makes you appear envious of the fact that CM earns a lot of cash for his way and you don't.
intelrudic2000 1 week ago
@intelrudic2000 you are ignorant of the facts. Various studies show that dominance training is useless or dangerous. Herron's work from Penn State, Casey and Bradshaw from Bristol. Kerkhoves work. or Rosales-Ruiz are all good places to start
It's always disappointing when people like you ask for evidence when it's so easy to find. It tells me that you really aren't interested in learning.
TheRafaelCarreon 1 week ago
@TheRafaelCarreon
Get a life.

@ElfOfDarkness your violent reply is typical of the abusive people that are so fond of Millan.
Emergence theory is a far more coherent explanation for the group behavior of dogs than the dominance fable.

As long as you know the rules, the boundaries, being scared of someone isn't a problem.
jziban1 1 week ago
@TheRafaelCarreon You realize that's the same spot on a dog that other dogs "punch" with their nose to correct pack behavior That and quick bites to the neck are how dogs tell other dogs "no". If Cesar is a fool, then why hasn't one better dog trainer sent in an audition tape to a competitive channel and gotten a gig? We have all kinds of reality auction/pawn shows, but one Dog Whisperer.
nstiles42 1 week ago
@nstiles42, no sir that's false. Dogs don't 'correct' each other. That would require a complex theory of mind. Meaning one dog knows another dog is doing something wrong. So the dog KICKS (never seen it) the other one because he knows the victim will interpret the kick as some instructive lesson.
Besides, these dogs aren't consciously behaving like this, it's an emotional storm that originates in the amygdala. Kicking won't and doesn't help.
TheRafaelCarreon 1 week ago
@TheRafaelCarreon "Dogs don't correct"? What do you call it when a dog does a behavior that another dog doesn't like, and they give a quick snap at the offender. Then the offending dog ceases to do that action again b/c of the negative response.

Do some real research and LEARN something.
dems000 1 week ago
He's basically tapping the dogs in a pressure point with his foot.
It doesn't hurt them as long as there's not top much force. Policemen do this as well and it's really just a self defense move but I suppose it's alright for dog training as well...

he's not kicking the dogs, it’s a tap to grab their attention. there are many ways to train a dog not all are wrong not all are right key word MANY WAYS some need a more aggressive way and others more gentle. Cesar grew up in a different country with dogs, and is very succesful with what he does everyone has an opinion and they think that they are right thats the beautiful thing about america we are all entilted to our own opinion and that’s just what it is an opinion neither right nor wrong

Maidenofeire 1 month ago
@Maidenofeire, you can agree all you want. You are still wrong. We know this because people have actually taken a formal study of dog social dynamics. So we know they don't form packs.
It's useless for you to ask for prove, when you are dismissing scientific evidence against packs. Really, unless god told you so you are not willing to learn anything.
AboutDogTraining3 1 month ago

Hes kicking the dog to let it know whos boss. Then the dog will respect him and listen. It works so why you guys crying?
TrueGreatness73 1 month ago
@TrueGreatness73:
Oh the dog will know who's boss alright. He'll also know to be afraid of his compassionLESS owner. When the dog gets stressed, all warning signs will be gone because he won't want one of Milan's kicks or chokes. Instead, you're at risk of that dog suddenly "going off".
pawsnews 1 month ago
@pawsnews How long have you been a dog trainer? Dont let your emotions get in the way of training a dog. I can tell you are a dog lover by the comments you made & I can probably bet you like dogs more than humans. Anyways I would bet my top dollar Cesar has more experience and more knowledge than you do. I would love you to try positive reinforcement training a vicious animal. Let me know how that goes.
TrueGreatness73 1 month ago
@TrueGreatness73, you are letting ignorance guide your beliefs. Not only does R+ work with reactive animals, it is far better for dog and owner since it puts neither in danger.
TheRafaelCarreon 1 month ago
@TrueGreatness73, buddy Kicking has never been correlated with respect. In fact you dn't even know that animals are capable of 'respect'
That's what's wrong with abuse trainers, they are looking to obtain abstract goals like respect and dominance that have no relevance to the dog.
TheRafaelCarreon 1 month ago
@TheRafaelCarreon All the dogs Cesar has trained it has worked for them. It seems the only thing that has not work is your attitude towards his method. All of the owners are satisfied with Cesar. Please explain where the "danger" was at? You guys are over emotional. These dogs are fine and doing well except for you. Life must be hard for you guys if you actually find this offensive and think there is "danger" involved.
TrueGreatness73 1 month ago
@TrueGreatness73 That's not accurate. About 50% of the dogs Millan has worked with are just as bad or worse than ever. This doesn't even count the dogs he simply gives up on and trades for one of his own dogs.
Millan acknowledges the danger, which is why he warns at the intro "DO NOT TRY". Millan's often blodied hands attest to the danger. You can shut yourself off from the facts if you like. I prefer to live in reality.
TheRafaelCarreon 1 month ago
@TheRafaelCarreon Can I have a citation for your claims? I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't go by facts that have no backing, especially when dealing with numbers.

Look at circuses they do something very similar and these animals can jump, flip twist and dance, you name it. Idiot

To anyone who thinks Milan's methods aren't cruel, watch toward the end where he chokes the Bulldog.
Milan gives me the creeps. Small man syndrome trying to show he's macho by kicking, poking and choking dogs. What a big man. NOT!
pawsnews 1 month ago 2
@pawsnews He's not choking the bulldog and if the owner of that dog was being the alpha properly, none of that would be needed. What is best, to show the dog who's the real leader and get it into submissiveness or let the dog attack anyone coming into the house and have to be put down because it bit someone.

@vickie781, no one can be the alpha leader. That's a completely made up concept that has no meaning to the dog.

Give me a break. I guess that concept works if the owner thinks he's a dog!! Maybe that's Milan's problem: perhaps he thinks he's a little Chihuahua and has to dominate everything else.
