  • Walter's soul lives on in this work of art. Its's good for the soul, baby, good for the soul!

  • Walter Gibbons really should get more credit then he does. I love the fact that he came back once and for all with "Set It Off" by Strafe. It was like the grand finale' for a man who was way before his time. Respect.

  • @darianjalexander fuck youtube and there 10 minute limit. this is superb and its literally criminal to allow its full genius to unfold.

  • For those who're intrested, Emusic.com has Walter Gibbon's "Jungle Music" album. Which contains this track as well as "Ten Percent (Walter Gibbons 12" mix)" and "Set It Off (Walter Gibbons 12" mix)",

  • I like this version. This would be a version that would be played in Chicago

  • DAMN NEVER HERD THIS VERSION!!!

  • sI agree. This is not for when the club is full. skfj67 is absolutely correct; if you had tried to play this version at the Garage at say 2 am there would have been a revolt

    Keep Bangin!

  • yes no question about it,

FK's mix and the album version are far superior.

  • @recordbot NO THIS IS DOPE AS HELL I GOTA FIND THIS.

  • this was sort of (un) officially released on a traffic records comp: Arthur Russell - The Sleeping Bag Sessions

problem is I've found the quality of their vinyl in the past to be very poor but hey get the cd and no sound quality issues.

This bootleg will get you way better sound quality for this track but is much harder to find. For now.

The track is actually 2 minutes longer but youtube limit is 10 minutes.

  • @recordbot which album?

  • @57dms Tony Humphries played this at Santos Party House in manhattan.....crowd went bonkers

  • @57dms If you don't think this could have been played to a full dance floor at peak hours, you've never heard a good DJ.

  • nice!!!
