Mmmm, yes. If you have junk cards on the left side of the list that are easily replaceable, then you won't. But in theory, if you only have the cards that you are keeping in your inventory, and then you get a new card that gives 15 points, then it is unique.
Just in case I misunderstood from your comments, you say it is less of a hassle to turn a P or M into an X, then an A?
Or do you mean that that it is easier to find an X or A and then find another arrow configuration for another card if necessary?
I always take an X or A if it happens to pop up and make adjustments from there.

Just for clarification you will know if the card you just recieved is unqiue because you will gain 15 points to you rank, right?
