  • What coding option is that?

  • It took the control panel awhile to activate. Where those set to tone?

  • Those sound like EHS-DL1's

  • What does opening the pull station with the key like you do to trip the system do as opposed to simply pulling it??

  • Are the pulls 4251-20's?

  • @rhett443 i dont remember. they are conventional

  • Comment removed

  • @rhett443 No. Notice how the pull has the newer Simplex logo on it. The 4251-20s have older logos.

  • @rhett443 Those appear to be 2099-9754 because the word "Simplex" is not all capital letters. All the 4251 type pull stations have the word "SIMPLEX" in all capital letters on the bottom

  • how did you get the job to do the bell testing

  • @alarm610 its called working for a company lol

  • Those are MTs? They sound just like truealerts lol.

  • @ProwerBot MT-24-VFR

  • hopefully the system got replaced with wheelocks

  • it sounds like a simplex trualert..

  • Wheelock MT-24-VFR

  • oh lol, well they sound almost the same...

  • yeah. actually all the peizos inside of them are made by the same company.. i think

  • well that might be interesting..

  • huh?

  • That is an interesting code that the panel is set to what is it?

  • the ademco fire panels made below 2006 do temporal pulse. The Ademco panel does not do a very good job of it. (it skips beats or makes them longer/shorter.

  • nice shoes, btw where were u yesturday???

  • cabin

these are schools near there. in eastern washington

    not in bellevue/seattle area.

  • Nice bell test man what are the alarms

  • Wheelock MT-24-VFR

  • what is the panel it's gotta be a simplex panel

  • no it is an ADEMCO 250FBP

  • so why are there simplex pulls? =\

  • because there used to be a simplex 4100. i used to have that but i parted it out and sold it. There is no reason to replace the pulls all they are are switches

  • ah. What was wrong with the 4100?

  • main system board was HELLLA confused. The troubles would not go away, it would set the fire alarm off, and it would randomly dial. all the wiering was ok and cards were replaced on the panel but nothing worked. so it was replaced.

  • Thats simplex for ye.What did the system get replaced by

  • @FiReAlArMtEcH2600 They did that same thing at the middle school near my house! They had a Simplex 4100U voice-evacuation panel (replacing an ancient zoned Edwards system), but it used addressable T-bar pulls and TrueAlarm smoke detectors. But it suffered the same problems as you mentioned, so the 4100U system was completely replaced with a Notifier NFS2-640 system, but they managed to get the existing TrueAlert speaker/strobes to work on it.
