The scene originally was to use The Monster Mash, as was written in the book, but the usage rights were too expensive, so the film's composer, duo tomandandy, wrote this piece, titled "The Boogieman Boogie." I asked them to compose an alternate reality Monster Mash, for the mirror Earth on the other side of the sun.

@avary thank you so much for directing this film, I have to say this film had one of the greatest impacts on my life. You sir are a genuis. Not many directors of a film would put clips of their on movies on youtube, but you have more artistic credibility, than those clows who work for money. Wow your the director? Wow this scene sticks out to me more than the rest of the film becuase i find the comedic aspect of the scene ovewhelms the satire. Roger avary really? I love he movie
