ive been using the toolbox size bahco woodsaws, and it works just fine for me. i think my fiances uncle who is a tree surgeon uses a saw like that for brashing limbs.

That pipe sounded kinda hollow like foam core... How does it do on regular PVC schedule 40 or 80

a sawzall yes but for probably hundred less you could cut pvc with this, looks good!!
