  • FAKE!.

  • its real cuz if it was a heated table then why was yhat guys hand on it

  • fake

  • they all called each other's cell phones, and cell phone towers use radiation, so all the concentrated waves cooked the popcorn. it is real.

  • and very awesome.

  • It actually is a hoax and they have already been called on it.

  • ha thats awesome :)

  • THATS CRAZY.

  • the radio waves actually cook the popcorn you guys!

  • oooo...

    salted or sweet?

  • i tried its fake

  • believeable! so sad...

  • FUCK MAN I know. But hey, do u want to watch TV on ur PC

You'll get all the SKY CHANNELS there is

  • is this real or no

  • Comment removed

  • very true...this looks amazingly real if it's not im blow away

  • Comment removed

  • ah shiz...oh well, i guess im gullable lol.

  • how did they do it really?

  • funny !

found some great deals at MobilePhonePlans,ca

  • well heck if its real, but it was funny

  • wow....

  • dont bring your politcal crap here

  • pop corn and orange juice?? That's even stranger than tryin to prove this to be real, too funny and still a 5*****

    :D

  • wwhaaaaaaaaaaat??!!!

    trippy

  • holy fuck shit!

  • lolz. ftw??

  • its fake. i read it on mythbusters site. what they did was dropped pre-popped popcorn on the table, thats why the popcorn seems to go striaght up, and they played it backwardes. they then edited out the kernals. ayways to pop a kernal u need 1000W. a cell phone uses only a fraction of that. which means the cell phone wouldnt even warm it up let alone pop it.

  • its this magic program called After Effects

  • è una grandissima cavolata

  • They heated them with something under the table 8-)

  • WAT THE FUCK.

  • some1 please tell me if this shit is real

  • it doesnt work i have tried it

  • I really want an iPhone but it's still to expensive in my country X3

I made an Ad design for it recently.

You can see it here: imagewizard.deviantart (dot) com/art/Apple-iPhone-Ad-Design-01-96611862

If you are a member of DeviantArt, please comment! :)

  • Best way to make popcorn EVER

  • but it doesn work!

    are you a fuckin idiot?

  • This was a stunt by a phone company to create a bunch of videos on several profiles of this "working" to see hands free systems, look it up

  • This will obviously solve world hunger !

  • I think this would be a lot better if instead of popping kernels they popped the creator's head.

  • FUCK MAN I know. But hey, do u want to watch TV on ur PC

  • damn, i gotta stop puttin my phone besides my balls, imma get chiks

  • wow no lol i wonder how that worked

  • seriously?

    your kiddin right?

  • wow

  • well i guess im not carrying a cellphone in my pocket anymore.... thats just nuts!

  • woman had my phone

  • that is so cool ;)

  • This work simular to that of a microwave, the radioactive waves change the molecular build off the popcorn kernal and pop you have popcorn!

  • HOLY SHIET :O

  • how in the world did that happen?

  • haaaa!

    dumbass

  • haaaa!

    bitch stop fucking my mother

  • oh wow !

    immature !!!

  • w/e ur just jealous

  • there is something called a microwave.

    pops a lot more

    trust me

    ; )

  • 7 million views thats bannas

  • Totally Fake!!If we could do this, our hands and ears would burn as well... They probably put some hot stuff beneath the table.

  • these are radiations. we wont burn, but what can radiation do? it something call cancer.

  • lol that is cool

  • so fake, we tried that at work with more phones and nothing happened. Let me just say we used advanced pocket pcs, haha.

  • haha joemo, you actually spent time trying to see if it was real?! lolololol

  • Of course we had to. Since that radiation affecting that popcorn is intense, do you think Im not gonna worry about that since Im putting a phone on my ear when its possibly frying my brain? hahaha.

  • BRAIN CANCER

  • omg whoa lol

  • lol this is an ad. This will not actually work.

  • sera verdad... jejeje q paveo

  • what if you put human between that????

  • gfrtgrtrtruryhrgtgbfv lez i gou van shu va li

  • If this is true: G o d , s a v e u s ! !

  • 0_0 ima try that

  • do that work with all phones

  • idk... i never tried it.. but i dont know how these guys are doing it pretty well digitally, i cant tell. cut then sum slack

  • it dosent work i tried it

  • thats so stupid its somthing under the table heating it i saw another person do that they were looking under the table and then table caught on fire lol

  • Way to ruin the magic. : (

  • dumbass

  • Popcorn that pops without heated oil and without browning or smoking slightly, I don't think so. This is definately done digitally and not in camera.

  • Yes, if 4 of you sit close enough and talk on your phones, maybe we could roast some brain cells for making such an obvious video.

  • load ov bollocks watch it closley :D

  • I'm sort of puzzled, if it's a 'stripped microwave', then how is it able to produce enough energy in such a short time to pop the popcorn and not fry the observers (or their phones)? Every time I'VE made popcorn in the microwave, it takes several seconds before any of the kernals pop. A trick, I guess, but how?

  • How? Watch carefully, the popped popcorn is thrown onto the table from above. The unpopped kernels are removed from the video digitally. It makes it look like the kernels popped.

  • its actually a hoax

there is a stripped microwave emitter undeneath that table

  • this works great. our power was out last night from a storm and we made dinner with our cell phones, try it.

  • This original video was already very foolish - the makers should have realized that people would try to reproduce this by using a microwave. And this has happened, all kinds of guys are now posting their dangerous experiments, often not realizing that simply misdirecting the waves a little bit, or having them unexpectedly reflected by objects around, can very easily and quickly cause great and irreversible damage, for instance to the eyes. This vdeo is a thoughtless, irresponsible act.

  • what the hell?

they put cell phones in front of popcorn!!

  • the radiation from the cellphones popped the kernols.

  • Ha ha

  • dudeeeeeeeee

  • "And". I also wanted to correct that. XD! Just sleepy.

  • Whoops! I meant, "exactly" :D. My bad.

  • In their disclaimer, it says that it wasn't real. So maybe it's 'fake', but not exxactly THAT kind of fake. It was fictitious, nad it was probably a stove under the table [MatterOfFiction24].

  • This video is completely real. Don't listen to the naysayers.

  • lol my physical science teacher told me about this video today, its soo fake

  • Even if this were true, who aims a cell phone antenna at their head, or talks on a cell phone while it's ringing?

    FAKE

  • fuck if that don't scare ya into thinkin how much radiation it takes to pop some popcorn think of those times you're spending talking on your phone.

  • OMG everyone will make that now?

  • Fake and retarded all at the same time.

  • Who ever wants to see how they really did this trick check my video!!

  • looks cool but prob. tastes like shit. now i got the munchies.

  • its works if u have the right phones and if u eat the pop corn radiation waves will enter your body and will grow a extra toe

  • haha wtf? really?

  • yay new toe

  • Myth-Busters used 100 cell phones and an egg, did'nt work. this is a fake

  • i tried this.

    didn't work.

    haha

  • Anyone who believes this is a moron!

  • I read some thing on msn and it says this is fake. But I dunno! I'm confused. I still think it looks cool XD

  • coool

  • fkin fake you idiots.

  • cell phone popped popcorn. yum!

  • FAKE

  • its not! its called micro-waves dummy. ur signal doesnt come out of no where.

  • Awesome!

  • NICEEE.

  • omg that wus aesome XD

  • Try this video

    watch?v=IXUXk3XyO5k

Look up George DeCarlo. He's a whistleblower and a scientist who devoted the past 15-20 years of his life doing research after the industry refused to listen to his warnings. There are MANY cases of brain cancer and lawsuits that have been won.

  • msn posted this video on their site a long time ago, it was a gag, its not real.

  • and all you dumb asses put those next to your faces...

  • no waaaaaaaaaaay :-O

  • radiation

  • Okay stop acting very excited so you can get a free feel on that girl. I see you...

  • fake video you can even see it here

  • How the hell was that done?!

  • Its popcorn cooked on a stove superimposed onto the table.

  • Ofcourse!! but why don't people think of that first???

  • I don't think so cause I'd imagine "synchronising" the camera movement from the stove with the movement filming the table would be tricky, unless they have one of those automated cameras (milo). Someone mentioned a microwave without a door. I guess it's something more like that..

  • wtf how did that work :O

  • me and my friends tryed this it doesnt work u need to heat the kernals up alittle bit then do it

  • It is a commercial. Check it out.

  • this vid got on TV!

  • Fake or Real someone help!

  • thats what it does to your fuckin brain do0d.

  • XD. Que rayos emiten estos celulares.

  • its a fake)

  • 携帯は悪。

    cell phones were vice.

    We must be strong.

    world is under human,not waves.

  • you guys were on the tv

  • It looks real, but I want to see for myself.

  • Yeah. I like that at least there's look most real.

  • no honestly its true

  • it doesnt work the origanall guy digtaly add the popcron poping!

  • haaha i did this too i t does work its brill :):)

  • It dosn't work, I tryed it.

  • In the electromagnetic spectrum the wavelength in radiowaves from cell phones are about 10 meters vs a microwave wavelength to be about 10 to the -2 so you wouldn't be able to pop a corn with that wavelength. The waves won't agitate the electrons quick enough for that to happen.

  • Whys everyone trippin if the video is fake ? Just enjoy the video. No one needs to hear how much knowledge you have about cell fones and why this wont work.

  • will try that some time will see make youtube video of it 2 (proubly doesn't work)

  • this is bullshit. was on the news in norway today. it was all just fake

  • there was only 4unpopped ones and many showed up! someone probably threw the popcorn from behind the camera!

  • wow your retarded get back to the fucking kitchen.

  • was there and vodka int hat orange juice because it takes a true drunk to tihnk of somtihng like this?

  • nahh lol on TV they said they put a bunsen burner under the table

    :P

its fake i reckon but some look real and very conivncing

  • AHAHAAHAHAHA THATS COOL!

  • if the cell phones actually DID pop the popcorn, it wouldve probably given you aids anywayz

  • why you have aids ?

  • LMAO!

  • there was probaly a heater under the table

  • its all bullshit they had a flame under the table its been exposed on tv

  • Yeah

  • Yeah I saw that too, did they give a reason why it was fake? Like only old phones cause it?

  • This was just on ACA in Aus

  • haha yeah i just saw it too. They proved it was fake...

  • amI the only one that wishes this was true? how much fun would it be to do this at a party.. Oh well maybe someeon can do this with 1k phones and see if the popcorn pops... How do we thing they did it? heat gun off camera? IS that why they had the phone so far away?

  • If this were true, can you imagine what they do to your brains?

  • This is very fake.. Ofcause microwaves can pop popcorn, but they need "a little" more juice than you can get out of even a modified cellphone.

And the people surrounding this would be in pretty great danger too ;)

  • No way! Fake! Cell phones don't operate at the right frequency (2.45GHZ) needed to excite the water molecules and the power level is barely 600mW (0.6 watts). A typically microwave oven is a thousand (1000 W) watts. You'd need over 1667 cell phones in a very small space. If I thought a cell phone could boil water in my head, I certainly wouldn't be using one!

  • Someone at work told me about this. Don't microwaves travel in straight lines, upwards first of all anyway making this unlikely? Its a well put together video though.

  • listen theres 4 different ringtones so fake

  • well duh did you think they all had the same ringtones on all there phones?

  • no there is 4 ringtones 3 phones

  • And there's some extremely bad acting from the guys who says "No way man! Did you see that?!"..

  • it doesnt work.

    its fake.

u took a microwave thingy out of a microwave and put it on the bottom of the table.

then you made the cords longer

adn someone turned on the microwave.

radio waves cannot pop popcorn. only micro waves can. you people are stupid for exposing yourselves to micro waves. but when u use a microwave over the micro waves are inside the microwave oven.

    this is totally fake. :]

  • I agree the video is fake but your response was just stupid, microwaves are not what pops popcorn its heat

  • What's stupid is you saying "radio waves cannot pop popcorn. only micro waves can." Microwaves are, in fact, radio waves. The way the pop popcorn was explained nicely by DomNld. That being said, the frequency IS wrong, probably by a factor of ten, and the power isn't even remotely close to what would be necessary to pop popcorn. This was done, according to CNN, by throwing pre-popped kernels onto the table during filming, then digitally removing the unpopped kernels on the table in editing.

  • no thats not how they did that i saw it on the news

  • there is some hot thing under the table? IDIOT!

  • Stupid~

  • i know its fake and all...but how did it pop? microwave? or just computer graphic stuff?

  • Microwaves emit the resonant frequency of water, which is how they cook, popcorn has a small amount of water trapped inside it which causes the kernel to explode when the water is heated. Cell phones do not operate under this frequency or any frequency near high enough to do this. This is Fake!

  • thats fricken awesome i gotta try that

  • idiot :DD sorry..

  • awesome xD

  • lol awsome ima try it now

  • It's fake...
