Everything feels plastic here and people grow up not knowing who they are. People on the street are either depressed and lonely, or absolute jerks...the fruit of American television. Sad really...
her accent doesn't sound australian.. she visited a pre-school in america and the kids didn't understand a word she said. one brainy kid even asked if we speak english in australia....

@Bristow42 You have to be an Australian citizen but thats all the country of your birth is irrelevant. Federal Parliament does not allow for dual-citizens (so Julia is solely an Australian Citizen and nothing else), State Parliaments however do.
I suppose she just lost her accent. I happened to my aunt who moved to England who now has a full blown Cockney accent instead of an Irish one!
