Can I just ask, does anybody actually like the chintzy, gaudy front end on the new Vogue? I reckon they've done a BMW, and made the car so damn pretty by 2005, that following on from there all other iterations have become increasingly more ugly
True, MrBeast! Oh it'll sell by the transporter load, I don't doubt that. Mostly bought by yuppies, it'll go out of fashion as quickly as a green Focus! I couldn't help but notice in Autocar that it was wearing a similar colour scheme to a Mini...white roof and wing mirrors, red paintwork; even the roofline seemed to magically take on a Mini like profile.....oh dear God.
they are two different cars. look at the exhaust pipes on them both plus the license plate.. stunning car but like the BMW X6 not sure if id buy one. still prefer the vogue and sport range.
@sssshaun yer. but i suppose range rover want to make something new..its like what aston martin have done with the rapide.. a 4 door aston martin?. who would of thought of it? :P i hope this catches on with other car industries.. trying something new
@harrypooni It's to the Vogue what the Boxster is to the 911. The Freelander succeeded on the basis that it was aimed at a specific market - as a second car, most likely for wives or young women. The Land Rover brand is synonymous with rugged, capable work horse vehicles. Range Rover brings that luxury spec (and bling!) along with massive capability. However, this car seems to me to be pandering to the X6 market - ie, muppets! Looks fab, but, what's the point?
