One question: to turn off the blade do you need to keep the button pressed for 5 seconds?

Thanks for the complements:). With that particular soundcard it is 3 seconds. Algor Equitas had the Ultrasound 2.5 which is no longer in production.

@deimos2k The Plecter Labs Petit Crouton, is what we use as our replacement for the Ultrasound boards. It will shut down immediately if that is desired. Also, all our custom sabers include a blade retention screw to securely hold the blade in.

It is for both:D! It is an elegant weapon, made for proudly displaying on a stand, wearing on your belt, or beating the tar out of the unfortunate soul with an FX;) It is made from aircraft grade aluminum and has a poly carbonate blade with no electronics in the blade itself to get ruined (unlike the MR/Hasbro Force FX).
