I guess that any action you take ends up backfiring on you in some way. You fail the expectations of the game, you get a "Bad" ending. But if you go to extreme and cautious lengths you get the good ending.

Depending on the way you look at it. While you can play the game without using the feather, sometimes you may find that you have to. Just remember, multiple endings equal multiple playthroughs

I think it's coming out in December in Japan. Dunno about an english version, although all of the other Valkyrie games have come out in english so I wouldn't see why not. I wouldn't get my hopes up too high though. They're usually random about localizing games. Just need to look at Namco and their Tales games... >_>

According to the official site, only two gods are confirmed to make appearance - Lenneth and Freya. But, from the looks of things, it looks like this is a story about Lenneth when she's still working for Odin, so maybe this takes place in a timeline before VP1 and VP2?

Kind of sucks that its gonna be on DS.. it's graphic capability just isn't that great sadly. Really hoping it's gonna come to PSP at least but, from the looks of gameplay they got the whole FF tactics style, doubt they'd redo the graphics that much.

To all who are unhappy about it being on DS, this may be a Spin-off. Also to Prier Kingdo Hearts was on handheld but it was a spin-off that lead to the storyline of Kingdom Hearts II. Maybe this game will lead into the storyline of Vallyrie Profile 3. Plus they said something about revenge so Hrist may be important in this game and the next installment.

I hav to admit its a waste of time putting it on DS, y couldnt they put it on PSP? Its understandable DS is more popular but they could make proper cool gameplay and graphics on it and show they can make good RPG since it aint popular to the west like FF.

I hope they bring out the next valkyrie profile on next gen consoles and make a much more larger and longer game play.
