  • Another World is actually the original title.

Another weird thing is that they kept subtly changing the texts in the intro sequence from version to version.

  • Epic!

  • the music in the beginning is sick, can you tell me who made it and what´s the title???

and another world is still fresh with it´s unique look!!! :)

  • @PIXELKITSCH It's remix of Chaos Engine music composed by Richard Joseph. You can find it at the ExoticA site. Simply look for "chaos-engine remix".

  • @DarkArakon

    thank you!!! :)

  • wasnt the sequel to another world called flashback?

  • @wildebeast1976 No Flashback (for PC-DOS (DOSBox compatible), Amiga, Megadrive, and other machies) is from the same company (Delphine Software), and it's a classic too, but it has no connection.

And there's a good sequel for Flashback on the PC and Playstation 1 called "Fade to Black".

  • @xcomcmdr Yeah i was going to say Fade to black. I loved playing that game.

  • Wow that Amiga CD 32 intro screen really took me back!! So does Another world btw :)

  • dammit op set your floppy drive speed to turbo.

  • was it better than amiga 1200?

  • lol he died :( i remember playing this on the snes. I love the style of the graphics

  • That creature would always roll you into a Sweedish meatball.

  • I love this game and this console :D

  • Got a question about the amiga cd32:

    - How do I hook it to my samsung lcd?

    - Were al the previous amiga games remade in cd? like, I'd love to play walker... is it possible?

-I'd like to play alien breed 3d and gloom on a cd32... are there any cd32s upgraded out there?

    take care.

  • The title is actually "Out of this world"

  • At 2:15, you can cleary (yet briefly) see that the title of the game is, in fact, Another World.

  • I guess they must have changed the title for the Amiga because I beat this game for the sega cd and still out it actually. and it's called out of this world

  • Well, as i know Another World pick up the line of the Guy, while Out of this world follow the story of his Alien Friend.

  • Comment removed

  • No he didn't. Out of this world is an JPN/US name of EU Another World. (look at the Genesis title).

Continiue of Another World/Out of this world is a "HEART OF ALIEN" from Sega CD. And Yes, You play as an alien.

  • no, there was a direct sequel to this game which followed the events of this game, out of this world is the same game with a different name, the usa often change the names of games and consoles

  • @katakisLives Hey dude... there was in fact a direct sequel called: "Heart Of The Alien" for the Sega-CD. It took place directly after the ending of Another World but you play as his Alien friend.

  • @mrsethcorbin I have heard of that game, I do have a Mega-CD but I have never been able to find it! it sounds really cool!

  • This game was always called another world in europe, you must have played the American version, the snes and megadrive and amiga 500 versions I,ve played them all (all called another world)

  • @DigitalQuirk @Outlander11 Both titles are acceptable.

  • the game first appeared on Amiga and was called Another World, some ports ' out of this wolrd ' was the title. I think the PC has both titles as I remember!

  • anyways ' Out Lander ' that was a good game :) rather like road-blasters!

  • Hah, yeah, It was supposed to be Mad Max for Genesis, but I guess they didnt get the license or something rather. good game anyway, but stupid ending.

  • It has 2 titles. In Europe it's known as "Another World", while in the US it was renamed "Out of this world" because the name "Another World" was already used as the title of a TV series.

  • @Outlander11 The American release title was known as "Out Of This World" but everywhere else it was known as "Another World." Same game though :)

  • @Outlander11

    Depends which country you're from.

For North America, the game is, indeed, titled "Out of this World."

In Europe, however, the game is titled "Another World."

  • Delphine made some of the coolest Amiga/ST stuff...the rotoscoped animation made it seem a lot less cheap compared to other games.

  • just sexy!
