  • I eat fast food about 4 times a year usually -- this year I only had it once.

    What no one seems to realize is that not eating fast food is easy because after a while you get use to not having loads of simple carbs and bad fats, which is when you stop craving those things. As an added benefit, when you do have fast food it tastes amazing.

  • Guys, get your facts right plz! The important thing in nutrition is the micros and macros. Once you have all the micros you need ( vitamins, proteins, carbs) you can eat EVERTYTHING you want to put all the calories you need to gain or maintain weight. It means if you have all the carbs, protein and vitamins you need in your daily diet, and you're at 1800 calories, eat fucking everything you want to reach the calorie intake you need. It's all about the macros.

  • Eating more frequent meals does not burn more calories. This is a myth. The reason eating fewer meals is recommended really has more to do with already greatly progressed body builders and portion control for overeaters. Think about it: if your maintenance is 5000 calories and you eat 3 meals, you'll find it much harder to consumer 1667 calories NATURALLY across 3 meals, as opposed to smaller, 834 calorie meals.

  • Lol im 25 and when other people ask me what am i taking or trying new in the gym to be so lean in bodyfat but so bulky in muscle i tell them i eat double cheeseburgers from Mcdonalds to load sodium and calories lol. No ones gonna eat a strict healthy diet if you wasted your time talking to them. They couldnt get over the dull bitter taste. Think like a shark and eat like a shark and youll look like a shark.

  • I got a question.. ok ok so I've been working out bout 7 and half months.. and I've went from 155 to 180ish in like 4 but the other 3 and half I can't seem to gain much weight been roughely the same 180ish.. BUT i am getting stronger in my lifting.   • Scott I was told by my dietician that you can eat fast food if you are on a restricted eating plan(notice i done believe in the word diet). She essentially said people binge eat if they cant eat the foods they want. We compromised on fast food as long as it was a whole wheat bun, and not beef. I tried the turkey burger at Carls Jr. and that is the only fast food I will ever eat. 16g of protein and a whole wheat bun, and under 500 calories. 1 gram of protein for 2lbs of body weight.

  • You're so right, fast food is crap. I always feel not so good after I eat fast food, which now is almost never. A Raw Food vegan diet is the best way to go, with sparse amounts of meat & dairy.

  • Stopped eating McD' or Burger King a long time ago. But started to eat other junk...emotional eating. It's awful. I'm 5'8" and weigh 197...and not all of that is muscle. In fact much of it is stomach and love handles...Herminator...Help! I was at the gym reg every other day doing cardio and weights. Then came down with cancer and threw for a loop. Cancer-free for 4 yrs, and coming out of subsequent depression. Ready to start working out again. You inspire me. Thank you. You're cute too.

I mean think about it, what do you get from fast food joints 0% of nothing and if you understood this two words ''FAST FOOD'' then you would know that is cooked or done in a fast pace so your body doesn't get the nutrition it needs.   • fatty cells grow untill they cannot anymore and divide , if u have 2 mil fatty cells you will never get rid of them they just get smaller .

They have a lot of calories (720) 32g protein, and some carbs. Is that okay to eat that cause its convenient to get calories/nutrients. I know some say pizza is bad, but this kind seems decent.

  • @9triton9 What? There is no statistically sound evidence showing MSG is any less healthy than salt, unless you are allergic. The proof is in the science, all placebo double blind studies testing MSG consumption with food in humans have shown no health risk. MSG naturally occurs in tomatoes, seaweed, cheese, and meat. Fast food is still horrible for you, but thats mainly because they are nutritionally empty calories full of saturated fats, and other unhealthy ingredients, not MSG. Just wiki MSG

  • You need to understand while bulking i dont care how clean you eat you will put on bodyfat. Its impossible to constantly gain pure muscle.. If you have never lifting before you can put on a decent amount of muscle without gaining fat, but once you begin to plataue you have no choice but to put some bodyfat on. While bulking as long as 80-85% of the weight you put on is muscle you are doing well. I would advise to not let your bodyfat get out of control. Dont go above 12-14% begin cutting

  • basically its Clean Bulking and Dirty Bulking.

    If you clean bulk, most of the weight you gain is going to be muscle. If you Dirty Bulk, you mostly gain fat. I eat the same things when I cut or bulk, if I cut i eat less of healthy foods and when I bulk which I am , I simply increase the amounts of the food. Foods such as the ones you mentioned.

  • I'm totally agree with you. i also had the same problem i was 1,80 and i was weighting 55 kilo so i decide to begin eating regularly. 4 meal daily and fruit between them. and now I'm 62 kilo in 10 months but I'm practice judo so i don't gain weight easily.

  • do you even have to ask dude? Check out what a microwave does to the proteins and vitamins in food. Also, the shelf life for Microwave popcorn is around 3-4 years, anything that will last that long is loaded with preservatives that interfere with your bodies chemistry. Not to mention how unhealthy grains are for us. Stay away from GMO junk food bro, go fresh, stay healthy.

  • I found that since I started eating whole, real, unprocessed foods, I don't have many cravings for junk food. I used to crave chocolate and chips a lot but I never liked fast food...

  • Eat a ton, then you gotta weigh a ton :p but its bit weird... your body only burns up a set amount of calories... anything above that should result in weight gain, but i do know few people that cant get their weight up no matter what... you probably have alot of tyrosine in your body, only explanation i can come up with.

  • I weight 97 pounds and im skinny but no matter what i eat i stay 97 or go down to 95 i dont eat fast food alot i dont really eat breakfast i never eat lunch and i wait untill 10pm to get dinner then i come back at 2am to eat again i dont really eat alot unless i strave myself ill never gain weight on and btw iv never gotten to 100 pounds sad i know 

    u know us teenagers, we have busy lives & at this point in adolescence is when u see a lot of teens becoming obese. For the average girl like me who's always been fairly skinny but not to wear I look sick, is it okay to have fast food sparingly? I eat very healthy, lots of whole grain bread, fruits & veggies(: I eat some junk food, only when I can't resist it. so not like everyday. How terrible is it really for you if you just eat is say, twice a month?

  • @sweetkatxoxo You can have fast food once a month. On weekdays the only meat you can touch is tuna. On sundays you can have roast beef or minced beef like a good meal at home. it's not just toned body, will keep zits away aswell.

  • Well uhhh, Scott doesn't use verbal crutches, okay.. He is from New England where a an audible pause in speech is common in everyday speech and amplified in public addresses, okay. JFK could speak in rapid fire without even a slight pause, when recorded however, true to his Yankee roots, he placed his ahhh's and uhhh's with recklace abandon to great effect. BTW, Scott mostly does these without a script, he does super awesome, okay....

  • Food is fuel. Fuel is meant to be burned. A lot of small intakes of of healthy stuff during the day will provide the fuel to burn fat and the energy to build muscle. Scott said it clearly, questions, look to his meal plan. If you look at him, you can't argue with what he tells us.

    I'm the type that eats a good breakfast, then small meals at lunch and even smaller at dinner time. Steak never enters my mouth. I do eat a lot of chicken and fish. Plus I drink at least 64 oz.'s of water daily. Side note: I found it ironic, that on this video page there was a commercial for McDonald's sausage McMuffin with egg. I haven't been in a fast food restaurent in over 9 years.
