LeToya and Amerie, imo, are two of the most underrated artists in R&B. Lady Love was an excellent album and I could listen to all of the songs, especially this one. This was my jam , I listened to this song everyday. You could so relate to her songs. She's really not promoted enough. No offense to Lady Gaga, Rhianna, or Beyonce, but LeToya, Amerie, and many others should be promoted a lot more.

Hi there. I completely agree! If you listen to the first two destiny child albums, although she didn't sing lead, you can hear her voice all over the harmonies holding them together. It's a really beautiful quality voice, quite mesmerizing.

Well the promotion of this album and its singles doesnt even compare to the promotion of her debut single TORN - especially in the UK (Torn was a toop 40 hit and yet none of the singles from Lady Love or the album itself have charted in the UK)

because they feel if they're established artists or if they're not popular then their albums wont sell which is why Kelly Rowland was dropped from Columbia Records as a solo artist, and Brandy who has been around since 94 was hardly pormoted because they felt she was an established artist, the same thing happened with Usher's album Here I Stand, it was thought because Confessions sold 10 million in the U.S., Here I Stand would sell at least 5 million, it just barely sold 1 million
Well I think Sasha (the first disc in particular) was definately a completely different sound - Dissapear, Halo and That's Why You're Beautiful are unlike anything Bey has ever done before. However, Michelle's album was much more of a change.
Ciara's album I think did really well - even in the UK.
The first disc was I Am, but I get what you're saying, but the entire album wasn't a complete change or transformation, Michelle Williams album Unexpected was straight Pop/Dance/ with some R&B, her first two albums were straight Gospel, but people hardly heard of her album which is why is sold 14,000 copies in the first week, and Fantasy Ride was sort of successful but it wasn't promoted at all, and Ciara is a major artist right now

The album HAS sold more than 50,000 copies, it's at about 90K now, that's not great, but it's a lot more than 50,000.
The promo SUCKS, and the music is amazing!
