The airbag hit the driver with a lot of force, but this is a very safe car. The driver would walk away with no serious injury. Maybe shaken and sore from the crash, especially on the right leg, as well as being bruised by the airbag impact.

my dad just bought a 2000 TL fully loaded. does this mean it has side airbags?

i didn't realize that there was a higher trim level. so he has the base model with a ton of options just without the nav.

the navi system was the only option. when i bought mine the dealer told me it came with EVERY option....ya every as in the one and only option

oh, and it found out that it has front side airbags. in the seats, but not curtain airbags

@NEWBUDDY358 yes it does. we bought a 2000 3.2TL ant the side airbags are in the seats.

fine - here it is - the 2003 tl is a car i really love. but it sure is expensive. i don't know if the 03 tl has side airbags. and it is not the most economical car ever.

I like them all, especially the 2004-2008 and 2009+ models.

i love most acura's from 99 to 05

the rsx and cl were good, the previous gen tl was nice. the 2006-2009 mdx is nice and the rdx is pretty cool.
