Do NOT SEND money to world vision or any other charitable organization, they will rip you off, 80% is kept in for useless bureaucratic and Administrative reasons the remaining 20% is embezzled by corrupt politician in the 3rd would countries. After 70 years of Aid, most of these countries are worse off, poorer and more miserable.
Keep your money in your pocket, and write to your senator and or congressman for real change. Take it from an insider.
