Admittedly, it does not attain the greatness of the previous Floyd albums, however it is a powerful piece that represented British feeling at that point in time.

Not all music has to be timeless, in fact, it's often better for some music to be rooted in a specific time, to allow the listener to reflect, rather than imagine.
