The Riddler is a likely villain but Johnny Depp is nothing but a rumor and after seeing his work in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I really hope he doesn't get it. He just doesn't seem right for the part. Jim Carrey did a good job in Batman Forever. He and TLJ were the only things keeping it from being B+R but he's probably too old for the role now.

I think Depp would be a very good choice for the Riddler. Depp does an amazing job in any character, no matter what is the part. He could definitely raise to the Ledger's acting level, even higher. I love the Batman symbol coming back and regaining its image. Like Dark Knight tore Batman down and now hes back, but The Riddler is on his tail or whatever.
I think since Batman is now the "villian", The Riddler should be obsessed with becoming the new hero. So he trys to hunt Batman for Gotham but along the way becomes more and more corrupted, and maybe puts people who might know stuff about Batman in like deathtraps, to both try to get them to talk, while giving Riddles as how to get out...
