I attended a autograph signing at a Tower Records store in El Toro Ca back in 86. I brought my QueensRyche ep and when I got to Tate as he was signing it I looked at him and said "you guys are awesome!" He then replied " its all up to us." To this day I don't know what that cryptic shit meant but it was still great to get to meet him and the rest of the Ryche. Their music will live on forever!
Geoff Tate and his voice ,he can be smooth and powerful and all live, NO LIpsynching for him . Its too bad they need a mainstream song to get airplay.But those in the know dont need to hear them on radio.30 years and going strong I like it.
Love this song! Best part of this performance, showing those grammy posers how you command a stage. They should have won a grammy for this song alone not to mention all other album they released so far. Their second nomination should have been for Promised Land. That album pushes the lines and is amazing from start to finish.
Hope with the new album out that they finally get R&R Hall induction.
