This is definately a huge part of aviation history. Although Singapore may have been the first to 'operate' the A380, Emirates were the FIRST to place they're orders with Aibus and are the largest A380 customer currently at 58.
Also, this is the first commercial A380 to fly to the USA, that, is how its part of history Sandra!
However, if you asked the average person who has been exposed to the news, they would have said that Singapore Airlines would be the first to order the A380.
Even though that's not true, the point is that you don't enter into the psyche of history by being the first to order aircraft.
The A380 has already been operated commercially to Singapore, Australia, Tokyo and the UK.
Óf course Sandra, the media exposure on anything, can leave a lasting impression on the consumer.
For example, if you'll indulge me for a moment.. take a look at the video you've posted claiming it to be 'Emirates A380 interior Shower-Spa/Bar'.. when in fact it's clearly (and more than likely deliberately) Singapore's A380. The consumer will only remember what they see!
That said, once Emirates has 58 in it's fleet, people around the world will only ever associate A380 with Emirates.
