I don't see a point in putting money into a base RSX but to each their own... I used to love my RSXS when I had it but my Z is on a whole different level. i am sure I'll think the same about my Z when I get the Z06 too lol
@psmTARDCORE Because the Type S is simply a more aggressive variant of the K20A. Different timing and reworked intake and exhaust from the factory. By simply dropping in a K20A Type R motor and getting KPro, your base model is now beating the shit out of all of your neighborhood bolt-on Type S'. If you're going to drop a different motor in it, why pay the extra money just to get the badging?

And if you could do the work yourself, you'd be smart enough to not buy a crappy fwd car. I used to own an RSXS, loved it in a few ways, hated it in many many more. One being it was slow as all hell and modding it just isn't worth it. You can buy C5 bases and C5 Z06's now for about $20k. Smart people go that route.
