I know someone that dragged her daughter through this abomination starting at 8, and the poor kid was plagued with stomach cramps constantly. I’m having a real hard time being a ‘Father’. I got divorced 7yrs ago & haven’t seen my 2 daughters (than aged 4 & 2) since. My Ex hasn’t restricted access, I’m just not that bothered about kids & think they’d be better off not knowing me.
Thing is, I know most people (like my parents) would react badly to my attitude, so I pretend I’m spending time with the girls most weekends. However it’s difficult to keep the lies going & I trip myself up, even forgetting their names at times!
