  • music...sweet music to my ears. Makes me wanna sitback with a PBR and a smoke than head out a fish me a 32 frame and flatty 295 and have some fun. This is great boss! Thanks for sharing the art

  • What is the gas mileage?

  • Sweeeeeeet Flattie!! Is that a 3-speed trannie? Overdrive would be useful--just a suggestion....

  • The lovely sound of vintage muscle is so damn good its almost orgasmic.

  • Very nice flathead, I have been trying to find one myself and was just wondering if you have any good sites or resources to help aid my search?

  • What cam are you running?

  • Hi, I believe this is running an IKSY (Ed Iskendarian Racing) 77-B cam which is supposedly a good street-friendly cam designed for good low & mid range power with a nice (not too lumpy) idle. Iksy offers several different models that are more performance orientated, but my father wanted this motor to be a smooth running street cruiser with a good amount of more "oomph" when needed ;)

  • ok, thanks for the info, i too want a decent lumpy idle, but i also want to be able to actually drive it too. This helps. I appreciate the info. By the way, you have one nice flathead!

  • its neat how there is only 3 runners for exhaust from each bank of cylindars. any ways very nice flat head ford. she will be a beaut. when the project is complete

  • LoL, yes, "NEAT" is not my personal choice of words for the 2 middle cylinders sharing the same exhaust port, but it is certainly different, and a piece of true hot-rod history. Thanks for the comment.

  • what year is the ford

  • Hi, the project is a 1930 Model A 5-window coupe.

    Thanks for looking!

  • The motor started out as a 53' from a Merc truck. Not many stock components left on/in it anymore.
