Very inspiring Pablo, came back for a listening, top-notch playing man,around 1.57 you play a chromatic ascending lick that goes beautiful out of tonality,and use of big interval skips is quite remarkable, real nice composition by Victor Young, Greetings Vic.

Thank you for your very kind words, Victor. I like that thing at 1.57 too, also because it's a 3-beat pattern over the underlying 4/4. I do that quite a lot. In this solo, notice the 5/8 pattern at 1:14.

I'd like to post more, but I've been busy literally for 10-12 hours a day transcribing full scores of japanese "enka" songs from records for a show next June. Haven't touched the guitar for 2 weeks. Nice of you to drop by.

I think I could play the blues, given time and the right sort of guitar. But I've been trying to tag along while listening to Fendermac's videos and I know it's a long way before I can play the blues like it deserves the name.

And thank you for your kind words. I'm sure that well-known players see me here, and I must tell you that I always have my guitar on while watching other guitarists' videos, including yours. :) There's always a new twist to be learnt.

That was not really 100% improvised. It was more like a rehearsed improvisation. You can hear that the bass moves along with it, and I programmed it beforehand. But I did try to put in those elements you mention.
