pokemon crystal version intro

This was my first, pokemon game, my first gameboy game, and my first video game

this & gold were the first pokemon games i ever played..

i cant explain how i feel watching this after 10 years..

nostalgia, tears & regret both for not buying silver and for not beating any of these..(i didnt even speak english back then so it surely was very tough to play)

all i want is re-live my childhood :""(

Idc if I get yelled at, thumbed down, accused of trolling....this is where Pokemon died...Crystal was the last of the good pokemon games...after that...we get introduced to all these weird Pokemon that push out everything, even the original 150.

@lifevest1 They were a lot of ridiculous and "unoriginal" looking pokemon back in the first two gens, too. ie Jynx, Mr Mime(creepy son of a bitch...), Muk, Rapidash, Voltorb, Machamp, Bellsprout, Stantler, etc.

Not to mention their names are just as ridiculous as Gen V's( ie. EKANS=SNAKE BACKWARDS, LOLOLOLOLO SO CLEVER)

Listening to this now, it seems that the version of the intro that they used in HeartGold/SoulSilver is based off of the one used in Crystal, rather than Gold/Silver because it doesn't use that bit at the beginning of the Title music, like Crystal does.

@LilfutsaL My very favorite PKMN... #246 if not mistaken, find it in the burned tower and set it free, after that you have to encounter it in the wild. me, I was looking for Entei, and while tracking, their areas merged and instead of Entei, Suicune was here. Unlike Entei, (The coward 1 - never appears, 2 - runs fisrt instant) Suicune seems to want a challange. (Doesn't mean it won't run, but it might give a Death-blow before it runs)

Even the new games look like crap by comparison, since they're too lazy to shade the sprites and they only animate in two frames.

...really? They COULDN'T do better than that on a DS? :|

(The Black and White sprites have better animation, but the same terrible shading as the Diamond/Pearl ones)

wow those great times! i was like 7 or 8 years old, we went to the seaside and i played it like crazy! gone through the game about 4 times. And I still got my Gameboy Color, I think I will go and start a new game! great memories!
