  • That movie was "The Last Emperor", from 1987. It was directed by Bernardo Bertolucci.

  • What film is he in at 1.54?? He looked very good at his older age film??

  • A phenomenal actor

  • Can someone pleaaase tell me what movie is at 0:29 when he is whispering in the womans ear!

  • Hi, ttmarlene. That movie is "The Final Curtain", from 2002.

  • @Pablosilvaperez thanks :)

  • the best actor ever!!!!!!!!!

  • Bravo you do the Gentleman proud!

  • Peter O' Toole è l'attore più bravo mai esistito

  • He looked abit like a more classy Brad Pitt.

  • @MrHerrIQ How can you even think Brad Pitt and Peter in one sentence ? They're worlds apart, universes....

  • Peter is marvelous: so talented, so versatile and (I'm female, I have to say it) so incredibly handsome

  • whats the movie at 1:18 ?

  • That movie is "The FInal Curtain". It's from 2002.

  • The only one missing is My Favorite Year! Great tribute though!

  • That movie was "The Last Emperor", from 1987 and directed by Bernardo Bertolucci.

  • what about 1:55?

  • what's the movie at 1:50

  • That movie was "How to Steal a Million". It was from 1966 and William Wyler was the director. Audrey Hepburn also appeared on this film.

  • @Pablosilvaperez oh wow. i had guessed that but wasn't sure. thanks a bunch.

  • Look up Julie Christie and compare her with Peter O'toole. THey look like they could be brother and sister. So much alike it's creepy.

  • doooood plz tell me the names of all these movies.

it's so hard to find any movies with peter in them.

    I would highly apreiciate it.

  • Awesome actor! I would like to see him as Marcus T. Cicero.

  • peter is a great actor but they won't give him an oscar because he won't kiss anyone's behind.he's a different type of english actor but i love his acting.

  • Who ever made this video should make a trailer for Lord Jim, that sums the movie up.

  • I just saw Lord jim for the first time. It was pretty amazing, is there any other movies with peter that are about Joseph con rads books?

  • I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're asking me. And about making a trailer of Lord Jim, I have to admit that I didn't enjoy watching that film, so, I wouldn't enjoy either making a trailer of it. For me, the greatest Peter O'Toole movies are ''The Night of the Generals'' and ''The Lion in Winter''. If you haven't seen them, I recommend you to do it.

  • @Pablosilvaperez I havent seen those movies ill check them out. i thought lord jim was done well, good acting too. Great story.

  • That movie is Lord Jim. It is from 1965, and it was directed by Richard Brooks.

  • Peter O'Toole, from youth into old age, always mesmerizing.

  • class

  • He tries to hide it, but I can tell by the way he looks, Peter O'Toole wants to do me.

  • He is a really great actor, I was surprised there wasnt any scenes of him from Masada in this, but still a great tribute. He plays a great authority figure.

  • MARK O'TOOLE IS BETTER <3

  • beautiful tribute to the best actor of all time

hes my favoorite as well n shoulda won at least once out of the 8

    otoole ur a legend

  • I like this video

  • Thanks so much. Sir Peter O'Toole is proof that the Oscars were set up to let true greatness down. In my opinion he is greater than Pacino and deNiro. Richard Benjamin called him "An International Treasure". How right he was!

  • Thanks for your commentary. O'Toole is indeed my favorite actor, and I was so dissapointed when he didn't win the Oscar for Venus, but he is still one of the greatest actors ever, at least for me.

  • @jemimakahn he has never been knighted

  • Many thanks for uploading this video.

Love it and enjoy it indeed. Great work !!

  • Thank you for making this. He is one of the best. It isso difficult to find good tributes to older actors on here. You did a reallt great job. :) He is underrated I believe.

  • The man can do any role -- lover, warrior, clown, king, madman. He never disappoints.

  • Hello Pablo, what a great tribute!!! the best on the web. I am a Peter O'Toole's fan from Argentina, and I am looking for that movie ''The final curtain''. I cannot find it and I am searching it about 5 years ago, please help!!!jaja. Congratulations again for your post and good luck in your life. Mariano

  • Thanks a lot for such a nice commentary. About your request, I can split the "The Final Curtain" and upload it on different parts in Youtube. And also, thanks again. Your commentary made me really happy :) Bye.

  • That would be great if you did that. Do you have Pygmalion or Foxtrot?

  • I'm sorry, but I don't have those Peter O'Toole movies.

  • That movie is ''The Final Curtain'', and it's from 2002.

  • whats the movie name at 0:30 when hes speaking into a guys ear looking kinda pissed?

  • Thanks for the commentary. When I did this tribute, I only had 10 or 11 O'Toole movies, so I couldn't do it much longer. Today, I have 30 movies of him. It would be interesting if I do another tribute including all those pictures. I'll think on it.

  • id like to see what you come up with. are you going to make one?

  • No, at least not in a near future.

  • I am one of Mr. O'Toole's greatest admirers, this tribute is very fitting and I only wish it were longer. It makes me want to watch his movies end to end.

  • wow!

  • Just to labour the point about what constitutes greatness in the art and craft of acting (and because I am another flipping year older today and need to be reminded that some people get better with age!)... the acting maestro Peter O'Toole, the world's greatest living actor and arguably the best of all time.

  • Hoy en dia esa finura, elegancia y presencia solo la encuentro en hugh Jackman (es mi opinion).

  • "the Night of the Generals" was a great show, I enjoyed O'Toole there. What a great performance, just like in "The lion in winter"

  • Those are indeed my two favorite O'Toole movies. ''The Lion in Winter'' at first place and then ''The Night of the Generals''.

  • u're welcome my dear

i appreciate ur job , most kind of u

if it takes long time, forget about the whole movie.

I need only O'toole's best scenes in it.

    :)

  • OK, I'll do my best.

  • Love it. It's so weird to see him at all different ages. When I watch Lawrence of Arabia and then Venus, it feels like I'm watching two different people, not the same man. What is the movie at 2:09? Thanks. And well done.

  • Thanks a lot for your commentary. The movie that is at 2:09 is Lord Jim. That movie is from 1965, and it was directed by Richard Brooks. You know, I have the same feeling as you about Peter O'Toole, and sometimes, it makes me feel a little sad, but I forgot that when I see him acting, and I realize that he is still in a great acting condition. Thanks again.

  • hi pablo , thank u so much about this tribute , a great job.

i love it, Peter O'toole is my fav stage actor all the time.

i liked ( the final curtain scenes )

if you have this one ,please upload it

i look for it long time ago.

  • Hi, thanks for the commentary. About your request, I can upload the movie to youtube on different parts. It may take a long time before I can upload it, because soon I'm going out of vacations. But, don't worry. I'll do it. :)

  • @Pablosilvaperez HI PABLO, IS THERE ANYWAY YOU CAN DOWNLOAD BECKET?? EVEN IF IT TAKES SOME TIME....AND IN DIFFERENT PARTS...AND ALSO, TO ME HE'S THE BEST ACTOR EVER...SHAME ON THE ACADEMY HE NEVER WON ANY OSCAR!!! HE WAS STOLEN IN 2007. HE SHOULD HAVE WON FOR VENUS...
