peter is a great actor but they won't give him an oscar because he won't kiss anyone's behind.he's a different type of english actor but i love his acting.
I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're asking me. And about making a trailer of Lord Jim, I have to admit that I didn't enjoy watching that film, so, I wouldn't enjoy either making a trailer of it. For me, the greatest Peter O'Toole movies are ''The Night of the Generals'' and ''The Lion in Winter''. If you haven't seen them, I recommend you to do it.
He is a really great actor, I was surprised there wasnt any scenes of him from Masada in this, but still a great tribute. He plays a great authority figure.
Thanks so much. Sir Peter O'Toole is proof that the Oscars were set up to let true greatness down. In my opinion he is greater than Pacino and deNiro. Richard Benjamin called him "An International Treasure". How right he was!
Thanks for your commentary. O'Toole is indeed my favorite actor, and I was so dissapointed when he didn't win the Oscar for Venus, but he is still one of the greatest actors ever, at least for me.
Thank you for making this. He is one of the best. It isso difficult to find good tributes to older actors on here. You did a reallt great job. :) He is underrated I believe.
Hello Pablo, what a great tribute!!! the best on the web. I am a Peter O'Toole's fan from Argentina, and I am looking for that movie ''The final curtain''. I cannot find it and I am searching it about 5 years ago, please help!!!jaja. Congratulations again for your post and good luck in your life. Mariano
Thanks a lot for such a nice commentary. About your request, I can split the "The Final Curtain" and upload it on different parts in Youtube. And also, thanks again. Your commentary made me really happy :) Bye.
Thanks for the commentary. When I did this tribute, I only had 10 or 11 O'Toole movies, so I couldn't do it much longer. Today, I have 30 movies of him. It would be interesting if I do another tribute including all those pictures. I'll think on it.
I am one of Mr. O'Toole's greatest admirers, this tribute is very fitting and I only wish it were longer. It makes me want to watch his movies end to end.
Just to labour the point about what constitutes greatness in the art and craft of acting (and because I am another flipping year older today and need to be reminded that some people get better with age!)... the acting maestro Peter O'Toole, the world's greatest living actor and arguably the best of all time.
Love it. It's so weird to see him at all different ages. When I watch Lawrence of Arabia and then Venus, it feels like I'm watching two different people, not the same man. What is the movie at 2:09? Thanks. And well done.
Thanks a lot for your commentary. The movie that is at 2:09 is Lord Jim. That movie is from 1965, and it was directed by Richard Brooks. You know, I have the same feeling as you about Peter O'Toole, and sometimes, it makes me feel a little sad, but I forgot that when I see him acting, and I realize that he is still in a great acting condition. Thanks again.
Hi, thanks for the commentary. About your request, I can upload the movie to youtube on different parts. It may take a long time before I can upload it, because soon I'm going out of vacations. But, don't worry. I'll do it. :)
@Pablosilvaperez HI PABLO, IS THERE ANYWAY YOU CAN DOWNLOAD BECKET?? EVEN IF IT TAKES SOME TIME....AND IN DIFFERENT PARTS...AND ALSO, TO ME HE'S THE BEST ACTOR EVER...SHAME ON THE ACADEMY HE NEVER WON ANY OSCAR!!! HE WAS STOLEN IN 2007. HE SHOULD HAVE WON FOR VENUS...
That movie was "The Last Emperor", from 1987. It was directed by Bernardo Bertolucci.

That movie was "How to Steal a Million". It was from 1966 and William Wyler was the director. Audrey Hepburn also appeared on this film.

@Pablosilvaperez oh wow. i had guessed that but wasn't sure. thanks a bunch.

Look up Julie Christie and compare her with Peter O'toole. THey look like they could be brother and sister. So much alike it's creepy.
